We had a pig, got him as a piglet and raised him as a pet. Taught him tricks and everything. We knew better than to get really attached to him, though, because when he got big enough, we took him down to the butcher. They slaughtered him and packaged the poor guy up for us and he fed us real fine for the next year. Hell, that's the REAL reason we got him in the first place.
