  • These propellants are being looked into by the Navy for use in ship-based gun systems. Personally, I could see these as being a useful replacement for current base-bleed or range-extender systems integrated into Artillery projectiles. The main advantage of these propellants is that they are quite inert until you run a current through them. This is really something. If this technology is developed further, we could see IOM Bolters in the hands of our troops in no time flat!
