@rww33 Hey Bro i am the parent. Ihave about every bass there is just not a lakland yet.Don't think i'm gonna wait til x-mas Been playing about as long as you are old. By the way went to your Youtube channel i think you are an awesome bass player also.
The heck with tcelectronics this video helped me make up my mind about Lakland Bass guitars!!! don't know what model yet probably 5502 but a lakland bass will be under my x-mas tree.
@SameFloorBelowStudio Fuck that CRAP!!! That shit comes and goes and so will this crap. The only people interested in this are those that are bored with life and what it really is. Later dude.
It's easy really to see why the tuners on the heads aren't always registering. Firstly Derrick is only playing through the large stack in the middle and sometimes is playing too fast for the tuner to track. Secondly the two smaller stacks either side are a stereo "custom tuned" pair that David uses for his electronic drum amplification. This will not really show note info.
The amp's don't seem to be registering any input - playing through one it constantly gives you a tuner reading and the input level moves. It could well be straight to desk.
Hopefully TC gets another endorsing artist to do a demo clip: Dominique Di Piazza. It would be great to hear the rig with a totally different playing style coming through it, wouldn't it?
They BOTH are amazing. It is hare to imagine fingers only are funking like this.
Listening with headphones, you can hear the "drums" are mixed, some left speaker, some right, most balanced. That, and no mics in the shot, makes me wonder if the cabinets are involved in the sound we hear at all.
It seems like its DI from the head, then perhaps out from the laptop to the cabs, but our audio wouldn't have the cabs.
Great sound, truly, but are the cabinets contributing?
There's no need to study music nor partitures :((

byjuu246 1 year ago
@byjuu246 Its just a Midi trigger pad...the question is whats the Tone Generator that he's using to produce those sounds???
31funk 1 year ago
@31funk I could be wrong but I've got a good idea it's Toontrack's 'Superior Drummer' 2.0... The midi trigger is a £30 Korg Nanopad!

Funny how pinstripedtie is flapping about a jam that showcased gear like it was really all that important.
Neat soft drums. Great all around tone. Probably felt enormous in the room.
