At 80 yrs of age Charlie is still superb , what feeling and soul comes from him, what style and phrasing, his voice is still strong and steady , I love his voice more than ever .
I was going to play guitar for Charley a few years ago,I met Charley in his hometown of Manchester Tenn,He ended up taking me to his home,We both had terrible colds and tried singing some Louvin songs,I ended up staying with him from 3pm until almost midnight,He gave me a STACK of Louvin CD's on my amp,I said I never had that much Money with Me,He said they're yours I gave them to you,I felt so special I was sitting in a legends home,He called me next day for Breakfast,#1 experience for me ever!
I saw Charlie for the first time at the Palmer Rapids Music Festival near Bancroft Ontario in July. What a voice- At 81 he still sounds great. I hope to hear and see him again. Gary Hall Peterborough Ontario
I had the pleasure of meeting Charlie & his wife at the Louvin Bros. museum in Henager, AL, back about 1993 or so. I will always count it as one of the special moments for me & my Dad, who died not long afterward, and will never forget Charlie for his graciousness to my dad, who passed away not longer afterward. My dad considered it one of the highlights of his life.
I think Charlie deserves all the publicity he can get....Hes an awesome muscian and singer and a wonderful people person when you visit at the museum in Nashville ... Brend Benoit Cornwall Ontario Canada

Admittedly, Burt Munro (the fastest indian)was a real hero. Please investigate.
I mean that. Burt Munro is a great, real story to know about.
Anthony Hopkins did a brilliant job of portraying him in the movie "The fastest Indian".
Watch it.
By the way, singing all alone sucks.

Anthony Hopkins:
"Hannibal" or, "The world's fastest Indian."
Both characters are in two of my favourite movies.
Thankyou Anthony.

I hate music critics, they're such idiots. Never pay attention to them.

Great clip. Thanks for posting. Can't get enough of the Louvin Brothers! (Did the producers here not know that it was Ernest Tubb, not Tubbs?)
