They sing it very much Lower than the Original in the 70th.In the Orgin the have the First Tone a Tenor "A'#"--(Half about the "A").Now the Start at "D" that means 4and a half Tone lower.When Singers get older often the Voice get also Lower.I now a Case where a high Tenor was at least a midrange high Baritone.Caused by Voice Ageing.

But It´s still the great Charme of the 70th there.Also with the difference.

I hope I can hold my Tenor Voice.

The first time I heard this song was when this version was included on the boxed set. Then I looked up the original on iTunes, and I was astonished at how high Robin sings on it! He just kills it. :-) Both versions are excellent.

I saw the Bee Gees Live in 1979 during the height of the Disco Era. After that, they were pretty much "banned" from the U.S. It was only 6-7 years ago that I discovered all the GREAT songs & albums that were hits around the world. Also, during the Saturday Night Fever tour/soundtrack; Barry sang lead on most of the songs. Turns out, ROBIN has the most AWESOME voice of all !! He was SO sexy during the 80's and this is my FAVORITE song !!

AMAZON just before it went out of print... To the Barry Freaks... I concur with Kristen.. I feel sad that Mo only got to sing 1 song that night.. It is not the Barry Gibb Show.. It is a BEE GEES show and each should have had some solo songs EACH...

For the High Civilization tour Maurice got to sing 2 songs each night, I'm pretty sure he could have sung more if he wanted to but there weren't any really....there was House of Shame from One, which they were promoting, and there was the shared vocal song Overnight from E.S.P 2 years before, which he probably didn't want to sing lead on in the first place considering the demo and the copyright delay.

It was a Bee Gees show and they performed as the Bee Gees.;)
