Very nice, unbiased documentary. It does gloryfy soviet weapons systems a bit, but no more than american documentaries do their own:) In any case, nice to see things from the other side's view.
Rest In Peace to all the innocent people who had to give their lives to this. It is time that "we the people" get rid of ideologies, systems that force us to fight each other, and get rid from individuals who support these because of petty interests. Life can be better.

The only reason the SAM's were there was because the pilots were told not to fire at the S.A.M site in fear of hitting Soviet technicians and starting a war with the soviets.If they were allowed to fire while the sites were being set up alot less planes would of been shot down.
my good friends uncle flew F-105 and he said the same thing when they launched the SAM's it looked like a flying telephone pole,but you could bank the F-105 and the SAM coudnt follow the bank of the plane.Where U.S.A went wrong was they flew the same flight pattern time and time again so the SAM's were put in the flight path
its nice to finally see a documentary about Vietnam that is not bias to USA.
