  • Hello, what do you use in pickup ? The song is cool :)

  • Everyone who says these guitars are tuned so the high six strings are in drop Bb and the low string is a G is a moron.

  • Great! Now play it on expert!

  • i wish they would have used this mix on the album. i can't listen to -/- because the mix is just awful. But these guys are awesome!!

  • Great video and riffs..can we get the tabs for the arpeggio on 2:40 ??

  • WTF is that noise at 1:37ish?!

  • 0:44 izzit me or anyone notice that guy face are like witch in disney cartoon. :)

  • Whoa.

  • are they called structures because their songs have none, or?

  • @planetfolly No, they're called Structures because their songs are very well structured.

  • I quit making music.

    holy shit.

  • any chance of a tab? :P and what tuning to you use?

  • @page041 check out ultimate-guitar, tabs seems pretty cool

  • HOLY SHIT !

  • is the six string thicker than the seventh?? 0:40 just for a look, it looks like its thicker...

  • What are they doing at 1:38-1:39? Sounds sick with the china!

  • Fucking awesome stuff.

  • Jeez..

  • I would actually like this album if the mixing wasn't so ATROCIOUS. Clip the fuck outta that shit dude.

  • 1:37

HOW THE SHIT IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!?!?

  • Can you tell me the size of your strings? That would be great if you could reply.

  • You guys are great. Personally, (and take it with a grain of salt), I feel like you guys could be a little more musical, a little less chug-chug-chug--squeel, but thats just me. This is djent, no? I feel like Animals as Leaders have done it to near perfection. Very heavy, but very musical, and influenced by artists outside of metal. But thats just my two cents. Keep rocking.

  • Holy shit!!!

  • So far, i've heard the string tunings is just Drop A# with a G on the 7th string...could you guys clear it up for us??? please???

  • @mcjguitarplayer It's a seven-string, so dropped tuning is out of the question. The lowest string is obviously a fourth below the second-lowest. I can't tell if they've lowered the tuning at all, but it's not dropped whatsoever.

  • @LNOL They've lowered the tuning to dropBb arranged for a 6string and the low B string is tuned to G.

  • @mcjguitarplayer This is correct.

  • What's the tuning for the guitar please ?

  • @FollowTheRainbow52 GA#FA#D#GC

  • This is the greatest song ever, end of story. And you guys are an amazing band that is going to be so big soon. I mean if Asking Alexandria did it, it can't be that hard.

  • @thatsprettybr00t4l These guys are like 80 times heavier and technical than that shitastic band. Don't ever make that comparison again.

  • @ryanandrewmartin MORE technical, should say

  • @ryanandrewmartin I think he's saying that this band is much better than AA.

  • @ryanandrewmartin i think he ment if they can get big then these guys could easily get big ha

  • The strings on the Carvin with the maple board look HUGE. Could you share what gauges they are, and what tuning it's in?

  • @Justice4AllOne aha i know right! i thought it was an 8 string for a second lol

  • My mind is full of fuck

  • had the pleasure of hanging with these guys last night...sick band!

  • oh man that was so funny at :48 hahah

  • Tim Hortons FTW

  • How are the sounds in the beatdown around 1:39 made ? Anyone know a technique i can research ?

  • @AdamSmithMusic Well you need to have a floating bridge to do this effect which most "metal" guitars will have. They play 7 strings but to do it on a six string you would play the breakdown open palm muted with the first fret down on the a string. To do that high drop sound you need to lift your finger off of the a string and hit a,d, and g open and push down on your bridge just after you hit the strings to make it drop.

  • @AdamSmithMusic Its called playing your bottom strings...

  • @dapwntality There must be some sort of overdub edits going on then if it's purely just opens.

  • @AdamSmithMusic well it looks like the guy at 1:41 pushes down on the floating bridge idk about the other guy

  • What is the tuning on this metal monstrosity??

  • :Q________________

  • damn i remember you guys back when Y'all started out in the myspace days! you guys are stilllll so fucking sick

  • I tried to cover this song on my channel, fucking hard as hell.

  • This isn't a cover if you're too stupid to realize that.

  • ...Fuck you guys.

  • i think ive wtached this about 60 times over the past 4 days o.o......

  • sick cover! great job

everyone should check out my covers also!

  • @alexisswaded not a cover..

  • The tuning sounds very low, can anyone tell me what tuning they are playing?

  • What kind of strings are being used here?

  • Comment removed

  • @tiamira25

But those are 7 strings LOL

  • @basketballgod2342 you're right man, i've to change my glasses.

  • tim hortons!

  • how come dude has duct tape on his head?

  • God damn these guys can play.

  • brilliant

  • I love the parts where they're outside on lawn chairs hahah

  • nothing quite like a bottle of wine and PB&J when playing a bad ass song

  • ELLHNAS?

  • Talented and it sounds like meaningful art. Very impressive.

  • inspired me alot !! keep up guys !!

  • looks like theres a jackass among us vvv

  • Good guitar players, alot of good ideas, especially the ending. really wish they'de cut out that lame brakedown section thou, they can do better than that weak excuse for a heavy part.

  • @RedOnChrome B Downs are still hip!

  • What tuning is this? cause the one tab I found had a really string tuning for it

  • @childofbodom4life the top 6 strings are in drop a# tuning while the low string is a G

  • @DEANVX93 youre missing a string still :P

  • @MA1S0 no i'm not? there's 7 strings on their guitars. the top 6 strings are in drop a# tuning and the low string being their 7th string is a G

  • @DEANVX93 my bad i thought it was 8

  • If you have to ask how to do certain sounds they do, you can't do it.

  • I guess Asians aren't that bad after all!

  • It's very fucking awesome!!!

    Good job, guys!!!

  • My Idols

  • I now see they are between 19-20 years. I am 20 and never been so jealous T_T

  • How do you make heavenly sounds like 1:37 ?

  • @Skulldaman it's just palm muting

  • @BornInDarknessToDie He's referring to the parts in-between the palm mutes.

  • @BornInDarknessToDie Yes I know, I meant that odd sound at 1:38, to be precise.

  • thought they had 8 strings?

  • @thedrbreakfast just 7

  • thumbs up is you think that thier drummer should do a play though

  • fav part @ 2:30 till the end :)

  • "WOOOO!!!! TIME TO THROW LEAVES!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

  • Can I please hear the "John Denver Acoustic Version"...please...sheesh

  • favorite part of this...the wine bottle and empty dish in the room with the fire place.

  • Life doesn't make sense anymore after watching this.

  • chuck norris tabbed this in guitar pro

  • 2:46 i'm fell in love.

  • what kind of guitars are they using ?

  • @MBguitarcovers dude you serious its in the description in plain sight

  • amazing

  • sick job lml

  • Comment removed

  • sick.

  • What finish is Brendon's guitar?

  • Lol @ 1:18 you can see him raking leaves behind them in preparation to throw

  • that high sweeping thing he does at 1:11 is amazing , what is that ?!?!?!?

  • @brandonwainscoat sounds like a pinch harmonic with a slide.

  • @brandonwainscoat If you gotta ask, you can't do it.

  • @brandonwainscoat He most likely made the fingerings of a chord, but did a pinch harmonic while holding those strings down.

  • Dat Tim Hortons in the right side. xD

Fucking love you guys, If you come to Vancouver I'LL BE ALL OVER THAT CONCERT!

  • Man, it's crazy seeing how big you guys have gotten. Thank you guys for making this playthrough instrumental! You're both talented guitarists no doubt.

  • fucking awesome song! and very good guitarists

  • LOL 2:46 That just made this video haha.

  • can i obtain this kind of distortion with a boss metal zone or boss metal core? please someone tell me

  • @shadowrichter nope. stick to a good amp with good gain

  • What the hell happened at 1:12 D:

  • mmmm Tim horton's in the background with Djent :D

  • How old are these guys? O__O

  • @MerchantOfDeath69 exactly what i was thinking

  • @MerchantOfDeath69 Hi Skyler.

  • I'm digging this a lot

  • So mch depth!

  • So canadian

  • You are all over the fucking place. Ridinky donkey.

  • what is this sorcery

  • this version sounds better than the one with the vocals cause you can actually hear what the guitars are doing

but the breakdown kinda sounds silly without vocals, actually it sounds silly anyways

    well the drums do

  • Amazing.

  • omfg this is nuts!

  • I wish I was that good.

  • Anybody else notice the wine and sandwich?

  • Hell yeah! Carvin FTW

  • 1:38 to 41..0.0..i that part melts my face each time!

  • THAT'S SUCH A PISSED OFF GUITAR TONE!!!! \m/

  • djenting, with a nice bottle of wine and sitting by the fire.

  • AMAZING

  • Music video? Jaw drops. GUITAR PLAYTHROUGH!!!??? Watches it 50 times...

  • I see this just as difficult as when i was gonna calculate math as a kid horizontally, not straight. Goddammit, this is good shit brah! 1:37 made me cry btw.

  • Why the wrapping around the strings above the nut? Less buzz??

  • @MandalaSkies yeah usually when you record or depending on the player if they want less extra noise they'll wrap the top of the strings where the tuning pegs are to muffle the vibrations from that part of the strings.

  • Cheers man!

  • How in hell do you guys make that sound at 1:38?? i nearly shit my pants when i first heard it!

  • @DanThornton01 You do harmonics across every string. Pretty much just sweep up, from highest tuned string to lowest, and let your thumb hit right after.

  • @DanThornton01 actually, they don't sweep all the strings, only a couple, but it'll give a similar sound.

  • How do they do that great sound at 1:38?

  • This is awesome, pushing technical ability further :)

  • whats the tuning you guys play in

  • @myles123456789 Drop A# with a low G string.

  • @polishmetalhead1 So G, A#, F, A#, D#, G, C?‎

Hmm, that's interesting. I might try that since I just setup my guitar in GDGCFAD, thanks for the info, couldn't find it online.

  • @JonathanAmaralMusic yep thats it. and no problem. my band ironically plays in drop G too.

  • @polishmetalhead1 Good stuff, I'll give em a listen if they're on your page. It's my first time meddling in something lower than a Low C. I stick to D Standard for all my metal recordings, and E for anything else. But having a low A or G seems like the only logical choice to have a nice corresponding tuning. I'm going to mess with it soon though since I blocked off the trem on it.

  • @JonathanAmaralMusic sweet. i do have a couple songs on my page, but the quality isn't all that great due to youtube compression, so if you want you can go to my bands page on facebook, The Desecrated. Were a fairly new deathcore/metalcore band and we'd love to get more feedback and fans. And have fun with that lower tuning, it definitely gives you more range.

  • @polishmetalhead1 Nice, I've never delved into Deathcore like crazy barre the extremely popular bands in that genre. But I commend you guys on the quality of the recordings and the songs themselves. Really liked it. And will do!

  • Can't stop watching this video.

  • I seriously watch this at least 5 times a day. more guitar play through's needed...

  • The best part about this video was the The Wonder Years sticker on the guy's case.

  • @oooouie oh shit yeah! didn't even notice that, cool that they like them though!

  • The the tuning still the same in this album aye?

  • twy sticker

  • 1:37 OMG

  • Guy in the hat looks soooo Canadian lol... Awesome video

  • What gauge are those strings??

  • The one with the hat does vocals on the album too right? I know the bassist does clean vocals but yeah.

  • What gauge are those strings???? They look thick as fuck lol

  • does anyone know what kind of pickups they use?

  • @Corinthiansmusic Know what's weird.. I came back to this video to tell you about their pickups, and you just asked that question... hahahahha weird- anyways, look up "bare knuckles aftermath" i don't know exactly the kind of pickups they use but these sound close to them.

  • @Corinthiansmusic The dude with the dark gutar is using his stock Carvin pickups, the other dude I'm guessing is using bareknuckles cause they're the only company I know that can do covered 7 string pickups.

  • @Levi790 aren't emg's and blackouts covered as well?

  • @Corinthiansmusic Yeah, but not like that. EMGs and Blackouts are all black or white and plastic. Bareknuckle is the only company I'm pretty sure who does covered passive 7s. And the distressed chrome look is a Bareknuckle thing too, although I'm sure theres other companie who do that for 6s. But I put my money on BKPs.

Currently trying to tab this song out. It's pretty ridiculous.

  • What strings do guys use!? Srsly.

  • dude, those strings look like theyre 1000 gauge!

  • @acompres No bro you got it all wrong. OVER 9000 GAUGE!

  • @acompres They're over 9000!!!!

  • @acompres yeah, you may be amazed, provided you have never seen what they call a BASS GUITAR maybe?

  • @AngelofSin666666 OH RIGHT, ive never seen 25.
