Most scorpions can't kill a good sized mammal, especially not a person, but cats included. At best they can partially paralyze it or numb the sting area with their venom, causing discomfort. The most venomous scorpions are usually small, sand colored, and equipped with frail, thin claws. This one does not fit that description, so the cat probably has a sore paw, but a fuller stomach in the end.
This cat probably didn't die. But it was probably very, VERY hungry. The reason it didn't react to the pain was likely because it was more concerned with getting its meal in order. It was, for all intents and purposes, a life and death struggle for both of them. And a great deal of pain can be ignored in such situations.
i love how cats pat things to death. my cat, in england, catches huge house spiders, and she never eats the, just pats them on the head, until they stop moving, and then leaves the carcas on the floor waiting for someone to come congratulate her. the retard
ok this is pissing me off now, i am from canada and u americans have all these fucked up slang words... what the fuck does "pwnd" mean and how do you pronounce that!!! there isn't even any vowels in the word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
k, this is pissing me off now cus i have asked this before and didn't get and answer. i'm from canada and you americans (or brits, or whoever you are) have some fucked up slang words. what the fuck is "pwnd" supposed to mean!!! there isn't even any vowels in the word!!!!!! is it an acrnym for 4 words or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please answer!!!
Hey genius, that isn't the smallest scorpion, and all of then are poisonous, some more than others. Scorpions are preyed upon by many things. They are very far down the food chain. Lizards, birds, trap door spiders, etc....etc....etc....etc.....
Just because you lay your little head on your flinstones pillow and dream that Scorps are badasses, doesn't make it true.
Cats are far superior hunters. Dogs have to rely on packs, and must be taught what a cat can do naturally. Cats have much sharper senses, and much quicker reflexes. Not to mention, they are much more intricate thinkers.
the feline is faster than the scorpion this one show showed a bob cat against a rattler and that cat was as fast as lightnin it did 5 attacks in a second
if it was a north african scorpian i reckon the cat would have been toast the younger yellow 1s kill in 45 mins to an hour the older black ones kill in 25 to 30 mins as far as im aware only the african ones are deadly there found in liyba an surrounding countrys
Yeah, figured the outcome. Cats are good insect abaters. My loves to eat spiders - she got bit by the last one. She killed a Cell Spider (dysderidae) and it made her sick for a few hours - apparently it got one good shot in before it died. Cell spiders are not venomous but the hurt like hell and are aggressive.
This just shows that CATS FRIGGIN ROCK! Did you know that the common housecat is the most deadly skilled hunter (of things it hunts) there is? No other animal on the face of the earth is as good as a housecat when it comes to hunting it's food.
But there's a twist. House cats hunt for fun. They dont need to kill to eat cuz guess who feeds them? people! But then again, in this case, da cat got some exercise AND a meal! talk about two birds with one stone
how did the cat knew the tail was venomnoous?and how could a scorpion and a cat meet eachother??i mean..cats are on the streets but i don't think scorpions belong there...
This was filmed in Saudi Arabia. In desert areas scorpions sometimes wander into homes by mistake. Many homes have cats which will kill the scorpion if they see it. As for how it knew the tail was venomous, I don't know, but cats generally know such things well, they also know how to avoid a snake's venom.
I have watched about ten spider vs scorpion videos in the past hour and I have not stopped squirming. Someone tell me why it is so rad that the cat won. Is it just because all mammals are hard? Could be. You tell me people. Go Queensland.
