  • this song makes our subconscious mind wander to the best of us to the feeling of love and madness

    Great the Doors!!

  • This one of my favorite version!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can't even make a decent comment. I'll just listen again and again.

  • Not like the solo? Blasphemy! They are the best part of the song. I guess you guys don't listen to jazz then...

  • @tatethompson1234 I get what your saying but we don't need to cater to your preferances or your snide comments because you don't like the duration of the organ solo. Speed that sucker up then.

  • When You're Strange - A Film About The Doors, Narrated by Johnny Depp!!! In theaters now!

  • @bmwmunk it's an awesome movie, i have it.

  • i like this guitar solo version of the song.the faster pace lends itself to a staccatto toned cleaner & more aggressive sound...more jazz like then psychedelic.... infact, in the middle for a brief moment, robby goes into some riffs that sound eerily much like hendrix's machine gun... i always felt the doors were more effective this way in tone then the blurred fuzzier sound that got furthered muddied w/ jim's slurring during drunken performances. compare this to the trainwreck of miami for ex.

  • lastly, in addition, this style of playing also allowed densmores best traits to shine. john is great w/ directing & changing pace, along w/ a very precise clear drummer. this version of LMF brings that clearly to the forefront.

  • horuseye1972, I've never heard the Konserthuset version. Is it better than the "Live at the Hollywood Bowl" version (in my opinion, the best version)?
