@TheRealMossi For what it's worth, them mortar tips really helped out. I had the darn thing unlocked, but never bothered to use it. Till one match, on Domovan Pick (or however you spell it), while rushing the objective, I kept getting my face pounded into the concrete. Long story short, I can count at least 4 matches, were ME oferring support via mortar, helped my team advance.

what is the difference between an IFV and MBT?

@frankophonee An MBT is a Main Battle Tank; it includes the T-90 (Russian) and M1 Abrams (American) tanks. An IFV is an Infantry Fighting Vehicle; it includes the LAV-25, BMP-2M and BTR-90. IFV's are smaller and more mobile than tanks. I'll make an IFV Quick Tip soon. Thanks for the comment!

@15oprey Yeah, tanks can be powerful in the right hands. But, they're also pretty easy to take destroy, if you know what you're doing. Check out my Quick Tip 7 video (link at the end of this video) where I go over some fast and easy ways to take out tanks and all other land vehicles. It's a lot easier than you think... especially if you have 2 engineers working together. Thanks for the comment!

ok so i got to try out the tank ramming tip and i gotta say it's THE BEST TANK TIP i ever saw on here before i used to fight tanks and lose like most of the time (i did ok when shooting soldiers but i sucked when fighting tanks) now everytime i see a tank i just ram it and i won like almost every time!!!! 2 bad u only got 500 views tho this video deserves moaarrr!

Once I unlocked all mbt tank upgrades I have been running thermal optics proximity scanner and guided shells but as the game is evolving it becoming ever more difficult to take out them pesky jets and helos it seems when they have ECM jammer and learn to use it correctly getting very difficult to take down I have now got a new favourite for them the static AA gun once mastered it an animal and no ECM or flares can save them with practice you will clear the sky's in no time

@aberbear Yeah man, the ECM jammer, especially on jets, makes it very hard to take them out with laser designator + guided tank shell. But, when you do... it just feels great! LOL Keep trying!

@TheRealMossi hey is it possible that i can get in a tank (by myself) then switch to the CITV lock on to a tank or jet then jump out with a javelin and then shoot it down?

@AskariStudios I've actually tried that before, and, unfortunately, it's not possible. To laser designate a target, you have to follow it with the CITV station and keep it in your field of view. If you get out to use the javelin, the target will no longer be laser designated.

@TheRealMossi so is there any way to increase the javelin damage without teamwork? not that i don't like it or anything but most of the time ppl don't use the soflam leaving the javelin under powered

@AskariStudios Yeah, there's one way but it's not very consistent. Once you lock onto a vehicle, quickly jerk the javelin up before you fire it. This way, it'll do a top attack, which does more damage. I've tried this; it doesn't always work. Sometimes it doesn't even hit the vehicle. Try it and let me know how it works for you.

@TheRealMossi ok but i saw on this one battlefield 3 video that it only does 35 damage to a tank no matter were it hits. but i will try it any way. maybe you can make a quick tip video on the javelin! i think that would be awesome thanks and i also subbed you :)

Noo tank jacking was my favourite trick I do it alot and it works but now it will probably work less :/ and probably Ill be seeing lots of tanks ramming

Sweet tip. Also mega important to understand how the armour works on a tank when your in a shoot out. Front end is best for taking shots. And keep in mind 2-3 rpgs to rear radiators will kill it.

@mwmp1 Yup, I completely agree. I go over the damage distribution for Tanks and IFVs in Quick Tip 7. Hitting a tank from the rear does 61% damage! So, definitely try to engage enemy tanks from the rear, or the side!

I need to try that ramming technique. Zoom optics if you use guided shell, thermal if you use lmg/hmg/canister

@Marcusnguyen Zoom optic can be immensely useful with Canister shell too, since those pellets don't have much of a drop. You can literally snipe with the canister shell.

@Threatty true but i found that canister shells are more useful at close quarters. I usually use zoom and guided with my friend in the citv station. The enemy chopper never knew what hit them >:p

When repairing your tank.....go inside tank once in a while when you have proximity scan so you can know if someone is trying to steal your tank..

DUDEEE! I always use the tank (mostly cuz i suck with other stuff lol) and i never thot of the ramming thing. I just stand at one spot and shoot them lol this is so cool tho i can't believe i never tried it b4 I'm gonna do it and kill some tanksss and when i get tank jacked i just get sad and try to run away but now i'm gonna try to jack the jacker lol like u said (haha nice caption btw... "i kno it sounds dirty, stay focused" lmao!)

do you actually prefer Zoom sight or infrared while using tanks? cause a lot of my friends usually play with infrared, but i think zoom´s much better due to the big maps...your thoughts?

@muschi8818 I use Thermal Optics almost exclusively. But, if you have difficulty aiming over long rangers, Zoom might be better. I go over the benefits of the two optics in the next video (Quick Tip 11).
