Okay, let's look at the odds -

Chance of death or injury from flu shot = approx. 1 in 1,000,000.

Chance of contracting flu if exposed and not vaccinated < 1 in 20

Chance of dying from flu if contracted - depends on strain, but can be as high as 1 in 3 (1918 spanish flu, also H1N1 strain)

IOW, if you're in a high flu area and you don't get the shot for fear of side effects, you're backing the wrong horse.

It didn't start, or was releases in flu season and didn't supposedly kill alot of people in Mexico and all over the world in flu season, so the doctors and government scientist who are trying to dupe everyone into getting the "vaccine" aren't really covering their own tracks well are they?

The point you made wasn't about the strand but about the fact that "Swine flu wasn't around in the 1970's". It was! You should have went to Wikipedia so that you could have validated your comment or to get the facts to work with prior to your comment. It just looks better! That's all.

And they used a similar "vaccine" to "cure" it.

Sometimes people have a low threshhold for brain disorders and they can be triggered by a trauma to the body..in this case the flu shot.I had my First grand mal seizure(Epilepsy)exactly 24hrs after giving birth to my son via ceasarian with an Epidural..the epidural triggered the epilepsy..it can happen,,,,,it's very important to do your own research!

I've had the vaccine,based on lots of research and a personal need because of my comprimised immune system.I'm not worried atall..I have also had Pnuemovax & the regular FluVax.I would be much more worried if I hadn't had the lot(One of my conditions is Broncheoectasis.o) I'm sick of people telling me I should or shouldn't too.I have advised everyone,only have it if you need it.If you have normal health you probably dont need it!

The problem is with any flu vaccine is that you don't know whether you'll potentially need it not as it is a proactive or preventative measure. So you simply don't know if you are not compatible to it, or even allergic to it. I have been urged to take the Avian/Swine flu as I already have a chronic condition. I still haven't decided. I don't think it has been tested enough. At the moment there is an epidemiological retreat from swine flu.

So my doctors advise that if there is not that much around at the moment, and we are moving out of flu season, it is less of a dangerous time. The problem is I live next to backpackers who travel to and from the northern hemisphere who can bring new swine flu and cause new waves. I'm not convinced of her cause and effect. There can be other co-factors. Also, the US is unwise to sell it at grocery stores. Here, you must have prescriptions and scrutiny from a Dr before they even write a script.

Also, Australian doctors always ask about allergies, pre existing conditions, chlosterol levels, nurological problems, and many questions, then in the end, read out the risks and make it encumbent on the patient to decide knowing the risks. Some will advise not to use the vaccine due to pre existing conditions. I think we have more regulations in Australia.
