This song completely sums up how I feel about a dear friend of mine. We dated nearly ten years ago when we were teenagers, but we were young and stupid and eventually went our separate ways. Recently, we have found each other again, both of us older and wiser and sure of what we want out of a relationship. Who knows what the future holds in store for us, but I would certainly love to be his last.

This has officially become my favorite love song. My husband and I met each other when we were both in our 40s. We know we have histories but they don't matter - what counts is - we are each other's LAST LOVE. I'm so thankful we didn't settle and waited until the 2 of us met. We waited 10 years to marry but from the day we met - there were no others for either of us. Such a wonderful song. Thank you Gretchen.

Clay Walker sang it wonderfully. But this is the girl version for all the girls out there that feel this way about the man they love. It's a great song both ways. She sings it great in concert as well. Good job Gretch.
