im using a mixtick vestax mixer... for me if ur strting on scrtching tt1650 will do but u have to change slip mats coz its has low on torque unlike technics sl1200..

1650s have a lever to lift up the tone arm so you don't scratch up your vynil.

Just a little low on torque, but that can be resolved with good slip-mats. If you have any doubts, go with the tt200.
