Wow, I was at this gig. I used to have a copy of it on VHS too, but the tape died ages ago, nice to see some of it again. I can't believe it's been up here for 4 years and I hadn't spotted it too. I saw Mudhoney in Belfast in December '10, they were still really good, I felt like a teenager again!
I'm 19 and I'm a girl, and this is fucking awesome, my friends can listen the fucking beaber, fucking pop, or fucking hip hop, I hate that, I prefer to be "sick" to listen that shit, long live to the good old music! sonic youth, husker du, nirvana, mudhoney, germs, hardcore punk bands, black flag, etc.... THIS music will give you freedom!
@jujkuj123 The reason they call it "Pop" is because it IS "popular" music. Unfortunately it is always there, pushing real music underground. In the 90's we had "alternative" music....it was the alternative to the pop music of my generation. Once that alternative became "mainstream", the suits came in with bags of cash and killed that too. I'm convinced music comes and goes in cycles....unfortunately we are at the bottom of the cycle right now!
@alicelovescobain nah dude it whatever music appeals to you and speaks to you is what is important and the fact is the music these days is really fake and dosent appeal to people like you or me or anyone else who likes these bands
@ska95124 yes, thats why i say that grunge never died. cause we continue talking about it and there are bands like alice in chains or soudgarden or the melvins and they continue playing grunge. So grunge 've never died its just no more a fashion
man i love mudhoney, i'm fortunate enough to live in the area where mudhoney is from and have been able to see them perform and some small clubs..fucking awesome.
I remember seeing Spacemen 3 there once from outside the window, good to see Mudhoney cover that in another vid on here. Too young to get in I was, shame ;)
I'm from Chester and cant believe Mudhoney played there! Does anybody know what venue it was at? They certainly don't have any decent bands playing there nowadays.
WoW!!!, MudHoney is amazing i've never seen this before, but I guess Mark looks like Kurt, or maybe Kurt looked like MArk Arm i dont know, whatever... this song is great
Lame Fest. I was there. Mud honey rocked and Nirvana sucked. I remember seeing Mud honey Mega City 4 and Senseless things and Snuff all on the same bill but cant remember where it was
hey, you've got every right to enjoy these bands...it's like me saying 'i've no right to be into the beatles'. there's some good stuff around now...just not so much. please, enjoy the moment.
I saw them in Bremen, Germany, sometime like 1990. (That means I'm probably not 15 any more.) Lots of flying hair. But the Beasts of Bourbon where better.
wowee - I was planning on going to that gig - I was on a school geography field trip in Chester - but the teacher wouldn't let me go :( That's amazing to be able to see a vid of it, thanks!
cheers, dude. it was a small fuckin venue and they played my home town back in 1989. going to upload some more. got them doing 'revolution'...a cover of spaceman 3. brill!!!

I can't wait for pop to die out. It has overstayed it's welcome in popular music.

By pop I think I meant like synthths, catchy Vox, and an image your rely on.
Fuck the buisness anyways it kills everything good because the majority of kids are retards and will have their parent buy this shit for them.
