  • The background bass and percussion really rob the value of this lesson.

  • the E sound on differents chords like this is awesome!

  • I fall asleep.... (-_-)zzzzZZZZ

  • I came here to learn Collective soul- Shine

  • @claytonruns So did I :/

  • Tankio so very much peter

  • wow your guitar is beautiful...

  • Shine of David Gray?

  • Thank you so much for your lessons. I really enjoy them. Keep on going.

  • thanks... learnt new strum today!!

  • i love your videos, they help me learn new strums and chord progressions for practice!

    I also love your guitar.

  • are you calling this video shine in E because the chord shape, and if so is that why people say "its in the key of e"?

  • It's because E is the note taken as the root. Oftenly the root is the first chord of a chord progression.

  • thanks so much but ..... i need a really beginner lessons.... lol !! :S :S HELP !

  • Whats A69? is that even a real chord?!?!? isnt it Ab9?

  • A6 means first inversion of A. The chords is C# E A instead of A C# E. Also a variation of a F#m

  • thx!!! you're great :)

  • great lesson. it is even easier if you finger it so you are always using pinkie and ring finer on the A and D strings (just changing from index to middle finger on the G string). that's how i learned Melissa.

  • HE CUT HIS MULLET :(

  • down up down up up down down up stop up down

  • down down up stop down up down down down up

  • haha it sounds like a real song lol

  • This is easy and sounds great, cool one. Thanks for posting cheers.

  • yeah, saw the first three chords and I'm like "dude you jack Melissa", but whatever, that's the hottest chord progression ever, so I get why you want it - but you have to add the asus4.

  • you're comment doesnt even make sense.

  • Useless fact-use the first three chords for Allman Brothers Sweet Melissa.

  • yeah, when he started this video, I thought it was mislabeled for Melissa. Good catch man

  • me too

  • WHAT ""guitar tipe is this one???""

  • amazing..thanks a lot peter...

    from

    INDIA

  • it sounds like the same chords to the acoustic version of "Angel" by jimi hendrix

  • what are all those things he's sayin like "G add 9 or E major 7"

  • chords

  • even i had the same problem when i was a rookie... the freaky 9ths 11ths 9ths 6ths used to make me crazy.... it is very simple... just add that particular interval to the chord. for example C Major 7 will have intervals: C E G B

  • which ones better acoustic or classic guitar?

  • depends on your style or songs you like to play.

  • i like acoustic

  • classic is for sheet music, a steel string acoustic has much better sound for chords

  • very nice

  • hey, your videos are so great, helpful and inspiring. Thanks man! Please Keep making 'em!

  • it very useful tools to learn, I have been looking all over and I found what I am looking for. thank you

  • super

  • thank you for teach me.

    good luck!

  • who originaly sings or plays it

    please

  • The numbers and the "0" are placement of the fingers on the strings. For instance: 320001 is the G chord. Top string (E), index finger on 3rd fret. Next string (A), middle finger on 2nd fret. The next 3 strings (D,G & B), the "0" means you play those as open strings, meaning you do not finger them. And the last string (E), ring finger on 3rd fret. Hope that helps. Never quit playing. You can play your entire life. If you quit, you'll regret it later. Peace !

  • this was awesome for someone learning! thanks for the help... it's great to learn new stuff!

  • Exact same chords to Poison's Something to Believe In. Excellent song.

  • i take guitar too, and my dad is teaching my notes first but he taught me a few chords. i'm not sure, but i think it may just be the name, or have something to do with which frets you paly them in o.o but i'm not sure, so don't spam me//

  • @ThatsPrettyFunny

    You mean like A 7th?

Thats just the name for the chord.
