  • Survivor my foot. Build sheets Missing? Cars been apart

  • PLEASE if your in the biz you know better a Survivor is ORIGINAL no only a paint job thats BS this is NOT a survivor its a partal resto job come on man are we dumb?

  • Rally sport wheels, rare ?

  • Quite interesting!! Thanks for that info Bizbyjeff. I owned a 69 GTO convertible that I bought in 1978 and it didn't have the shakers. Maybe they were missing or GM didn't install them in all of their converts???

  • Hmm, I spotted two things on the engine;

    1. EGR valve. There were no EGR valves that I know of until 1973. Perhaps the intake is not original????

    2. Either this car had an air pump originally that was removed or the the exhaust manifold has also been replaced.

    Question; what are the "cocktail shakers"??? What do they do???

  • @lspaul92

    The cocktail shakers were installed by GM to reduce harmonic vibrations in the convertibles only... they worked perfectly.

  • I feel sad that that previous owner have someone in his family to take care of this beaty. I take very nice care of my grandfather's 1974 Opell Kaddet.

  • cocktail shakers? could some one inform me on that?

  • engine never been outta the car; has any work been done to the engine?
