In theory as far as one could get them to go, but the greater the distance the less consistent they would be. I guess within 8 meters would be a comfortable zone. Some screwdrivers and files are easier to throw than others.

I only able to do the side, underhand, cross. That needle and throwing behind back is impressive! Suggestion: you've thrown for accuracy, how bout precision: multiple target at multiple distance, double tap each. Also throw 2 or 3 at once. Walk casually, throw sideways, walk. Throw, run backwards, throw. Roll into frame, throw, roll out. Knife is for sticking, not throwing. Once thrown, you lose ur weapon, but it can be effective distractor/deterrent. Steak knife with lunch box=no concealed wpn

thanks so much for the vid! Inspired me to throw again. I've always thrown holding the blade and used systema close-range method to throw holding the handle for the last 7 years. Finally something new to learn! The no spin is the true shurikenjutsu. 3 ft to 15 ft+. No need to change the grip, whereas with holding the blade one has to change hand position from near to far throwing. I found the no spin really easy to pick up. For folks learning, movement is like chinning someone with your palm.
