Kingda ka is way better than the hulk. Kingda ka reaches 128 mph when hulk doesn't even reach 100 and obviously you have never been the great adventure. The wait is not even close to 5 hours having 4 trains that load at the same time. Its about a 2 hour wait max on a Saturday. During the week I got on this 3 times in an hour. There's many other coasters just like hulk when there's only 2 like kingda ka; top thrill dragster.

You are thinking of Ring Racer at the Nurburgring in Germany. It's actually not open yet, due to a defect with it's pneumatic launch system (which is capable of launching the train to speeds of 134.8 mph). To hold a record, the coaster must be operating.

Also, I believe that Ring Racer has never launched at full speed yet. On tests, it's only reached 70 mph.

Top Thrill Dragster came first, by 3 years. But both rides were designed and manufactured by Intamin AG, and a company cannot rip off their own design. Intamin AG has built quite a few rides similar to Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka, though none are nowhere near as tall or fast as those two, because not every park is willing to spend 25 million dollars on a coaster that requires lots of maintenance.

However, it was Six Flags' choice to have Kingda Ka built, so...yeah.
