This is awful and bears only the slightest relation to the original song I know & love. What's with all the excess flourishes and over-produced digital sheen?! All it does is obscure the beautifully emotive heart and completely dissipate the rhythmic momentum of - the very hard to find - full-length version of their finest song. Epic Fail WMG & SE!!!

Did you know that a short lived group called Cola Boy featured the guys from St Etienne back in the early 90's when they went broke so they had to come up with a dance single Cola Boy - Seven ways to love? For copyright reasons Sarah wasn't allowed to sing on it so they got some other really hot girl to sing it. Although you can search and find a rare Sarah version of 7 ways to love too.

A good hypnotic one from Tiger bay. Their third album. Cool song and video! To see how diverse this band is check out "Hug my soul" from the same album. Completely different than this one. It's funny and sexy where this is hypnotic and reflected.

@Zadunestar i listen to hug my soul for a long time like when it first came out but had no ideka it was them.they didnt get enough play here in the states for whatever reason. I guess she wasn't naked enough after all that comes before talent.

me too A huge Fan of Sarah and Saint Etienne. I can't believe i never heard of them really and they been out like FOreeever. Now i can't find any of their damn albums on Amazon without it being a import and costing a ton. O well That's what i get for getting on the bandwagon late

@RON69METS Hey Saint Etienne fan I own everything by them and could send anything to you that you want for free just let me know. I recommend you start with their album So Touch first which is their best. This band is my favorite and in my opinion worth hearing every thing from their library.

Sound of Water the album i feel in love with them and her in particular and its my favorite. She has such a relaxing voice and the music put together fits her voice perfect.

@RON69METS Very cool Sound of water is my personal favorite too! We have similar taste mate! My favorite song on sow is "How we used to live". Terrific changes in that one. Hey you might like "Club 8" which has a similar sound to St Etienne although not as experimetal as SE their still very good. I've been really enjoying them lately. Their newest album of 2010 "The Peoples Court" is a big change for them musically (although great album!) so I'd recommend checking out "Spring came, rain fell".
