i think the creators of Dr. Tran are purposely obscuring his origin. for example, jicima (pronounced hickima, as seen in the video) started in mexico, but spread to southeast asia, the philippines, vietnam, central america, and thai (all plausible origins of Dr. Tran.) In the Islamic religion, chocolate is forbidden.
