I'm gonna be so happy to be able to give my children (someday), the greatest band [ever], Dr. Hook. When I was growing up, or still if you'd prefer, I would listen to them and when I think of it now, it is so much better than the music nowadays. Live long and prosper, Dr. Hook. <3
It's really sad that this great band...backed by the brilliance of Shel Silverstein's lyrics and Ron Haffkine's arrangements should ossify in the 70's - 80's. They weren't just better, they were a sort of genius and should be kept alive , if only to pass on to our children.

I can only guess that the reason he lives in the U.K. is because he has alienated the whole North American continent. It is a pity; with his talent, he should be on top of the charts. My respect for the rest of the band went up about 100 notches, since they had to tolerate him for 15 years.

I really Love this song. But the pc dosen't have what it takes to bring it to live.
I have the logitech Z-5500 Speakers hooked up to my pc. But it just doesn't cut it. If you really like music the tube amp and pre-amp is the only way to go...
