Put any gymnast on "your bar" and they could do everything you're doing 10x better than you and some skills you never thought of doing. Bartendaz you are nothing like gymnasts and should be ashamed for comparing yourself to us gymnasts. All I saw was dumb grown men playing on a playground.
@pressure01 learn how to kip and swing and you'll have that "core strength" to spin on a bar like a little kid. if you learn strict movements, the kipping will be easier with practice and patience. check out the armstrong pull-up program.

I find these guys really inspirational, because I know with enough practice and dedication most most fit guys can do these moves... still have a way to go, but I'm not too far off for most of them myself. Now, I've seen what gymnasts can do on solid metal bars and they absolutely sh*t all over these dudes - not disrespect. What an olympic level gymnast can do on the bars, the average joes like me have no chance and I doubt these guys will ever be able to do ever. Pure garbage my ass!

Anyone who buys that crap about the bar bouncing hasn't watched enough acrobatics to know that you don't need bounce to utilize swing technique. There are kids in Ukraine going around the bar and doing dismounts on playground bars. And if you don't train on rings, you will look like a hack when you get on.
I could watch these guys all day, they're freakin' awesome! Calisthenics of this caliber are amazing to watch. People all over the world who utilize this type of physical fitness are so much physically stronger (and more flexible) than those who lift with free weights/machines. In fact as part of their physical fitness training, Chechen mujahideen practice the same type of pull up repetitions on tree branches (albeit not as entertaining as the Bartendaz, but still impressive to watch).

@romeyo9186 only the smallest percentage of gymnast use rings and they have crazy upper body strength to do so. If you don't have crazy upper body strength you won't even be able to hold yourself up on those rings.
@romeyo9186 not true at all if you watch what they are doing is strengthening the stabalizer muscles so if you were to put them on the rings it the y would be fine cause everything is strong, do your homework before making false comments
@1980kdt they'll be ok, not great, but they're still no match for a gymnast in a ring. so let's think about it for a second. there's a ton of stabilizers required to workout in rings and gymnasts are doing similar or harder movements on a ring. i think a gymnast would win.
@azubike I agree, I have black friends who get annoyed at that however in general black men have 16% higher testosterone than other men, this has been hidden because we're all meant to be the same and not to offend white people but it's true, if we were exactly the same then I'd have a chance at winning the 100m but I aint black, it just won't happen. what you guys are doing is great. great exercise, great body strength, a lot of core muscles. this is something i'd never seen before. i would have to agree with the comment below. what you guys are doing, the bar is not moving. with the rings, you are using more muscles to stabilize yourselves because the straps move which makes it harder and you use more core muscles. i would have to see you guys go up with ring gymnastics. not hating on you guys, you guys are great. keep up the good work
@dimezthemagicprodusa iron cross... sorry, I kinda thought there's no need to explain. But iron cross demands much more from your joints and muscles than flag. Flag itself is not that uncommon, it's a cool trick, and people from many different disciplines train for it. But that's just to compare the cross and the flag. They do not say that gymnast are weak, but they do train in different ways and with different goals in mind. There's not much sense in comparing these groups.

@dimezthemagicprodusa iron cross... sorry, I kinda thought there's no need to explain. But iron cross demands much more from your joints and muscles than flag. Flag itself is not that uncommon, it's a cool trick, and people from many different disciplines train for it. But that's just to compare the cross and the flag. They do not say that gymnast are weak, but they do train in different ways and with different goals in mind. There's not much sense in comparing these groups.
