If you modify it. In fact, You have to "enlarge" the cartrige slot to be able to fit Mega Drive carts in. You also have to do another little mod inside to bypass the region lock. I got mine from a friend so I don't know exactly how.
Same here. But the problem is that I checked it out on ebay and it goes for nearly 600 bucks! I could get a PS3, Wii and a 360 for that amount of money.
i found a copy for $50. the $600 one was overpriced should n't buy from that guy anyways. i'm sure ya had to have seen the other sellers offering it for less than $200.
you need not modify the cartridge slot, just put a game genie or 32x in your genesis and japanese carts will fit on top. If you need to bypass the region lock out, many of the more popular imports have game genie codes you can enter to bypass the region lock out. However, if the game in question is available in your region as well as other countries, ALWAYS get the one for your region so you won't have to do these workarounds.
Boss tip: try only taking out the links that connect the arms to the boss for extra points. The more links that were on the left of the link that took out, the more points you get. If you take them out in sequence, you won't get extra points.
Finally, someone who picks up this humble but very solid shoot 'em up. I see that you went all the way with Gley Lancer, so I'm going to watch them all. And yes, the first couple of bosses die way too quickly.
I sold my wii for this game alone. Proud of myself.
