Sri Sivan is to be placed on a lofty niche when it comes to his contribution to Tamil music. The musicians in Tamil Nadu must include more of his kritis in their performances. Do they need another Kalki, the great, to remind them of the necessity of Tamil kritis in performances in Tamil Nadu?

Navarasan, Neer Vaazhga. Ungal sevai thodarga! We just sat in front the PC for hours together first skipping evening tea then skipping dinner - this stuff is too much - all your Tani Avartanam posts then the documentary on Papanasam. It is sad we don't get such programs up here in the US on satellite TV.
