I agree with the incompetent doctors around here in florida. I honestly believe half of them dont care about anything other than getting as much money outa you as they can. I went to the er @ o.p medical & bout got into an argument with one of the nurses cause she wanted to argue with me. it was all I could do to keep from knocking her out. Doctors anymore are bout plain damn stupid. Im glad though that lil man is ok & doing better.
I also have to add that when we went into the ER with him they were going to send him home- with a 104 fever and blisters all over him- until i said i wanted him to at least stay overnight for an IV of liquids because he wasnt eating or drinking. two days later they sent us home.. still didnt know what was wrong with him. we get home and had a call on our answering machine that he had to go back immediately to the er for a spinal tap(lumbar puncture) because he had a strain of meningitis!
We don't know what happened- never will. The wonderfully incompetent doctors of florida said he "might have had an ulcer from the antibiotics" they were giving him for meningitis but that is all they would tell us. He is fine- never happened again thank god!
it makes me sad when babies cry :(

Thank god i was a pushy mommy! they were going to send home a 2 year old with meningitis! just goes to show- mommies are never wrong :)
