Heard many years ago the two ways to kill a song: Drag it to death or run it to death. Better a quick merciful death than a slow lingering one! Yes, we sang it quicker with piano/organ, but I like the pace of this arrangement, bit of a crossover from traditional to contemporary style of worship. This is how it would be done in our contemporary service, but I'm still with the pipe organ and choir robes! Enjoying all the "songs of praise/big sing" pieces!

An excellant hymn but spoilt by the revising the timing of the music, not sung with full gusto which it should have been.
