  • Woah... that was really amazing. =)

  • this helps me trying to memorize it haha

  • agreed - real poetry sings. please note the mistake in word placement i make in the first line ... wouldn't want you to do the same.

  • very nice...

  • I like this. I've never heard Frost set to music before. You make an interesting song of this classic poem.

  • grazie largo64 - i understand frost hated the idea of his poems being sung to musical accompaniment ... and yet some lend themselves perfectly to music. hope the old guy isn't spinning in his grave.

  • Long may he spin (the exercise will be good)! After I saw this video last night I saw another where the same poem had been set to music for a chorale. Very nice, too. I have sung other poems, including Masefield's "Sea Fever" and Yeats's "The Cloths Of Heaven." Some poems were meant for music.

  • thank you megan - i'm grateful to your will for playing "over the waterfall" at a tempo i could play along with and learn from ...

  • Wow . . . very nice, indeed! 5 stars and saved it as a favourite.

  • I read this poem at my Dad's funeral. Very beautiful rendition, man.

    Thank you.

  • you're welcome - i thank you.

  • Very cool man.

  • Beautiful.... Is this your own music to these poems?

And..... just what is that thing you use for a pick?

  • mille grazie. yes, they're my tunes. i'm playing the charango with a risha - a pliable strip of soft nylon, normally used when playing oud.
