@candistyx Wake Up Mind Control Victim. Anyone who does not think there is enough land to grow hemp for fuel and still grow food crops need to take a serious look at all the waste land that can be converted into arable land. Search 6 ways mushrooms can save the world. Hemp would also be a great resource to convert land into arable land good for growing food crops. There are other methods to increase yield per acre: vertical greenhouses, growing on rooftops, and why not make use of hydro fields
@yellowecotec We use 400 years worth of the total sunlight hitting the earth every year in Oil. It is literally impossible to match that with growth of plants of any kind due to the Laws of Thermodynamics. Western nations can indeed improve efficiency both in the growth of food and in the using of energy in other areas of the economy, but for the rest of the world to reach the levels of health and security in the rich nations they will have to catch up to closer to our energy usages.
@candistyx are you that stupid FOR REAL? DO SOME MATH your comment only rationizes BLOOD FOR OIL by a fascist world government taking over the world (look at the roman fasces found in america, on the denver state symbol and more mussolini and hitler used that symbol)
half of the total arable land in the world 1,704,936,272 acres
1704936272 x 42 (1800gallons) = 71,607,323,424 barrels
projected world oil consumption by 2030: 104,000,000 barrels per day x 366 days = 38,064,000,000
@candistyx when this guy says impossible he really means "i didnt do any math and children are smarter than me" children who did the math laugh at how ignorant and retarded you "educated" adults are pumped full of disinformation that you go spreading as "Fact"
Law of Thermodynamics ENERGY CAN NOT BE DESTROYED ONLY CONVERTED. Hemp is HIGHLY efficient and YOU GET MORE ENERGY than what you put in. nobody can prove me wrong with REAL science NOT THEORY.
@candistyx corn ethanol uses LOTS OF PESTICIDES AND OIL BASED PRODUCTS to grow GMO corn ethanol which is HIGHLY INEFFICIENT. Hemp NEEDS NO pesticides or fertilizer, its is OWN fertilizer/pesticide/herbicide and harvests up to 10 times more than corn ethanol (corn ethanol takes FAR more energy to create vs the return) hemp you actually get more energy than you put in, you can just burn it in a broiler generate electricity no smog, no sulfur CREATES oxygen instead doesnt just burn it
@candistyx so here you have MORE barrels of fuel you can harvest than the world consumes JUST from the pressed hemp seed oil, THEN THERES THE STALKS that can be burned in a broiler for energy, converted into charcoal, tar, methanol (methanol is race fuel) or used as fiber, or other products.
Why not utilize hydro fields to grow hemp fuel or is everyone retarded and in straight jacket to not do ANYTHING. how retarded do peak oil activists have to be to WASTE ENERGY ON DISINFORMATION
@candistyx yes it is thats why those fascists used RACIST and fascist techniques to outlaw the cannabis hemp plant so they COULD GET RID OF THE COMPETITION, WHICH ALLOWED for everything to get shittier. Stuff used to last a very long time, hand me downs used to last and be good strength (made of hemp)
Hemp=Efficient: hemp paper can be recycled up to 8 times where as our current wood pulp is only recyclable up to 3 times. DEFORESTATION ONLY HAPPENED BECAUSE THEY OUTLAWED COMPETITION
@yellowecotec Also there is the fact that some people don't want every last inch of the planet to be exploited by human beings to the detriment of other species.
@candistyx there is hundreds of millions of acres that can be converted into arable land good for growing food crops the notion there isnt enough land is nothing more than mind control propagaganda to distract everyone from the energy companies selling their poison today.
america can grow all its food, energy on A FRACTION of the land, A LOT of other countries have FAR MORE arable land its SUCH A JOKE world energy consumption can be grown in a fraction of land i used to think like you too lol
This is completely non logical, hemp is NOT the solution to global oil depletion. If a government could use this plant to replace oil, it simply would instead of endless wars. Peak oil is the most serious threat to not only your life but to 5.3 billion others. I have watched Zeitgeist, and it in no way reflects my views on this impending catastrophe. The reality of the situation is that when peak oil takes hold it will lead to thermonuclear exchange, just accept it so you can deal the future.
Hemp helps detoxify and regenerate the soil. Falling leaves and shrubs not used in processing fall to the ground and replenish the soil with nutrients, nitrogen, and oxygen. This rich organic mulch promotes the development of fertile grassland.
Hemp requires no herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, or insecticides to grow well.
Hemp plants only need 10-13 inches of water, 1/3 of the amount which cotton requires, to grow to 8-12 feet in 3-4 months. hemp can be harvested multiple times in a year
Biodegradable hemp plastics could revolutionize "waste" by recycling and re-using instead of throw away start new.
Until the 1930s most paint and varnishes were made with non-toxic hemp oil. Hemp paint provides superior coating because hemp oil soaks into and preserves wood, due to its high resistance to water.
Hemp oil is a good base for non-toxic printing inks. Soy is currently made into inks, but soy ink requires more processing and takes longer to dry than hemp oil based inks.
How many more decades of petroleum companies creating propaganda movies to mislead the public and take the eyes off the guilty party need to take place. Everyone who is against hemp is rationalizing the satanic blood for oil wars over resources fascist global government.
If any activism came from this america would be energy independent by june but people are so brainwashed and trapped in the corporate propaganda. there are plenty of solutions but ignorance is abundant because of propaganda
@wittyandclever Your comment and the previous one is evidence of mind control. Zeitgeist DID NOT promote hemp as an alternative energy source, even if they did that is evidence of disinfo because they also presented the idea the world is running out of energy and "NOTHING" can replace it, THEY DID NOT MENTION HEMP.
Watch the video, DO SOME MATH. CHILDREN can do this math and figure it out are people literally this dumbed down, SERIOUSLY? Wake up your ignorance=blood for oil(war)
@yellowecotec Have you seen Zeitgeist:Moving Forward? In terms of energy they talk about how fossil fuels are running out and how we need to move towards renewable energies like wind, solar, geothermal, and tidal instead of relying on something that is finite when these renewables are all around us. If hemp is more efficient than the renewables I just mentioned than I do agree that we try to use hemp as our primary energy source.
@yellowecotec I don't believe the film was intentionally not mentioning hemp maybe they were so focused on the other renewables they just overlooked hemp. If you have any good websites or sources that go into in-depth detail of how hemp as an energy source would work and if are there any drawbacks (is the process to produce hemp and hemp oil difficult? how much pollution if any is produced from this process? etc.) than I would like to check them out because this interests me.
@sangolt88 Your comment only rationalizes the poisoning of our planet by the big energy companies who were the ones who outlawed hemp because the mafia cartels got the competition out of the way.
Worlds total arable land 13,805,153km²
half of the total arable land in the world 6902576km² x 247 acres in 1 km² = 1,704,936,272 acres
1704936272 x 42 (1800gallons) = 71,607,323,424 barrels
projected world oil consumption by 2030: 104,000,000 barrels per day x 366 days = 38,064,000,000
This planet can sustain a population of 50 billion humans in a hemp economy on a fraction of the land.
A space habitat could have been built in the 70s and done by 2000 that can grow lots of food, energy in space to create more land space if earth would ever run out, which it won't there is a lot of mind control on the internet based on peak oil, a die off, collapse, if it was so real why do energy companies keep making money. Its propaganda from the oil cartels to get focus off the enemy.
Gas would be cheaper than $1 a gallon, eventually it would go back to being under 50 cents a gallon. That is MORE than possible, there are a lot of crazy lunatics in control of this planet and its based on suppressing Hemp it would make so many products obsolete that never should have been allowed to poison our planet. Now everyone has to deal with a poison planet and the means of healing is outlawed by corruption WHO CONTROL THE OPPOSITION that SELL their BS that doesnt get anything done
If big money has invested into it, theres good chance it is profitable. Hemp is not profitable energy would be so cheap everywhere as more got created and the markets adapted, hemp can be harvested multiple times in a year in some places in the world. Lots of energy from JUST the pressed hemp seeds NOT counting the stalk that can be converted into methanol, charcoal, hemp hurds like coal, burn it in a broiler, make filters. Different strains need the biomass per acre tested/verified to find out
Grow a field of cannabis yourself before you make any conclusions.
The only reason GMO corn ethanol is bad is because they use lots of pesticides, herbicides, etc...,plus the plant doesn't yield nearly as much, it set a horrible example and got people to lose interest in biodiesel altogether so petroleum man can keep laughing all the way to the bank creating world war 1, world war 2, they WANT to melt the ice caps to start WARS over resources. hemp creates oxygen which cools the atmosphere...
Just a quick question how much would the product cost per gallon in its finished, purified form. To run an efficient, robust economy with sustained growth anything over $5 per gallon would be too expensive. Its only my opinion but "natural oils" etc are really expensive even for a small bottle. The cost of producing the hemp oil (EROEI) would negate growth. The only way to run our economies is on CHEAP energy. Hope this makes sense. Please give me your thoughts.
