I partially agree with you, but still i think we could avoid many (not all) of these if the media stops giving them the publicity that many of them are seeking (why else would they make videos, write manifestos etc). Cause if no1 ever heard his name or why he did it, then his action will be pointless other than getting out a little frustation. So i still urge the media to at least stop digging so deep into these stories, especially on the killers side.

Yes, that's true. But they write them to hope that someone comes and rescues them from their loneliness somehow. But deep inside they know that, that will never happened and there is a slim margin that someone would care for them. There are some people that would help, but just a slim margin. But I don't blame the guy for killing himself, the way society is headed with all this technology and busy lives is tuff; to speak to one another without interest. But he shouldn't have killed everyone.

Of course they want to be saved, but when they've reached the point where they know they are going to take their life, then why not kill a couple others and get PR for many many weeks after your dead and forever be remembered? Thats also when they really get to tell the whole world whats wrong with it and that its really societies fault and so on.
