So we can say logically that Violence does not equal Peace.

I agree with him that his system would be better, at least in the short term. But I do not believe that profit is a thief. Would anyone argue that if we removed profit from the electronics industry, we'd have better electronics? All we need are pre-approved medical loans for all. Get rid of insurance but let the hospitals still profit.

Given the far reaching global impact of US foreign policy, the ENTIRE WORLD has a vested interest in the US 2008 presidential elections, therefore as an outsider looking in; would it be too much to ask for the right to vote for Dennis Kucinich!! He has the potential to be the most ennobling 'world' leader ever! (Ron Paul 2nd IMHO!!). What I do know is that it would break the back bone of the global community if a candidate of the likes of Bush were to be elected.

Kucinich is the only candidate who actually cares about the American people, not to mention people all over the world. He continued his campaign in 2004 even after Kerry was nominated because he cares about getting the message out, not just having power.

On the surface it sounds interesting, but I would need to learn more about it. I am glad you follow my main point here. Traditionally, the U.S. Government creates more bureaucracy and adds more levels of convolution to any process. They are the worst managers of systems in history, and we want to try to turn the most currently convoluted, most messed up system we have to the absolute worst managers in the world. How does that possibly make sense?

Okay, so why not help the 50 million (Approx) get insurance, instead of turning the whole system over to the ineptitude of the Federal Government and screw up medical care for rest of the 250 Million (Approx) who do have insurance? We are going to chance the entire system to Federal mismanagement for 1/6th the population? Why not concentrate on the few who do not have. BTW: How many of the 50 Mil have been turned away at a hospital? How many illegals?

Harry Truman campaigned on Universal Health Care (UHC) back in 1948. Almost 70 years ago, and we still don't have it. Why? Because it is not viable. If it were, LBJ would have done it when he had a rubber stamp Congress that gave us all the other welfare and entitlement programs we now pay over 80% of our taxes on. UHC is a joke and it will never happen.

I spent time on an airplane with a man who was born and raised in Canada. He now lives in Texas, coming to America because of his lack of heathcare in Canada. Had he stayed there, he would be dead now. There is 1 machine he needed for a whole province, where there are 10 such machines in N. Dakota alone, and no waiting to use them. Just because other countries have it, does not make it good. Tell me 1 thing the US Gov ever took over that became better.

PRetty much everyone in the world knows that the US healthcare system is great in the sense that the doctors are good and the equipment is superb, but that's only if you can afford it. I'm from canada, and I've been sick as much as the next guy, but I've never paid 1 cent. I can't speak for that man but I'm sure if what you said is correct, he's loaded.

It was because SEIU had busses leaving to take the people back home. Do you think SEIU wants to keep its members from hearing Kucinich and Dodd? Could I work for a smaller company that otherwise would not have a large enough employee base to negotiate healthcare effectively? He would have except that about half of the participants at the conference were bused in by SEIU, and as soon as Edwards, Clinton and Obama had spoken SEIU told the bus riders to get back on the buses for the ride home. So SEIU leadership didn't give all its rank-and-file members an opportunity to hear Dodd, Kucinich or Gravel. Those who stayed gave Kucinich a standing ovation, just as the AFSCME workers had in Carson City a couple of week ago.
