You guys DO realize that canned heat in the 60's was NOT the originals who came up with this song. The original was written in 1928 originally named Bull Doze Blues by Henry Thomas. Just Fyi.
Wow, what a fresh take on 1960's social-economic struggles. The idea, put forth in this video, is one of lose of connection to agriculture in an ever increase metropolitan culture. This idea is accredit back to the 1967 paper "Corn on Fire" that discusses the want of 1960's Canadians to be more in touch with their economic basin in agriculture. Once again I find this YouTube video a fresh take on this topic and look forward to more social commentary by mental mike.
Eguy451 is correct... This video is a refreshing take on a classic song about one of the most overlooked social issues of our time. I have a feeling many people don't truly appreciate the genius that is this video. 5 stars.
