I think the first commenter was referring to the rocks at the bottom, if you come off a stairway at night onto a field of random rocks somebody is going to fall and get hurt, especially if carrying groceries. I like the look, but you should have carried the steps all the way down and left the rocks on the sides for effect.
Is your camera work or is it the work, it looks like shit. Beside that it looks like a good place to fall and break a leg or neck. You come off one step and there is no step below it. It also looks like the steps are not level, pitched side to side. Does that mete code where you are?
@samten10a Seriously. You must be blind. Each step is perfectly level and a consitent 7 inches. Each landing is at least 16 inches deep for extra landing space and yeh, they all meet code. My camera work may not be the best, but my work has been featured in the Colorado Home and garden show and we have received awards for that. I have also been featured on HGTV (twice). Take another look and you will see there is a step preceding every step. Please take your rude comments somewhere else. Thanks
I love it. that is a great design.

@DrDisasta The stairs are not crooked. I should have all of you over to the site to teach you how to read a level.
