The 80's Camaro's were rattle traps and would literally crash over bumps. This gen Camaro was 10x more civilized to drive and handled better. With about $500 in mods to a LT1 Camaro you essentially had a Covrvette with a 10k+ discount.
A LT1 or a LS1 would wipe the floor with a 79 Z28 5.7 350. I was talkin about the early 2nd gens as being the ones that could put up a good fight with 4th gens. like 70 71 72 73.......

The Mustang LIVES 64-present Ford came very close to replacing the Mustang in '89 with the probe but the buyers wrote in and gave them shit and it didn't happen the probe was still released and was a good seller. WELL.. actually when this style of Camaro and Firebird came out it was in the 1993 model year, when the Mustang was still in the Fox 5.0 bodystyle. The Mustang was not remodeled until 1994. Anyway, the Camaro has not outsold the Mustang since 1985. But you already knew all that, right?

my mom still to this day has her 1994 camaro and she has not put any thing differnt on it. it is all stock but she needs a new interior and paint job... but hers came with a cd player and she bought it in 1994 and she didnt even add it on it came equiped!

The 80's Camaro's were rattle traps and would literally crash over bumps. This gen Camaro was 10x more civilized to drive and handled better. With about $500 in mods to a LT1 Camaro you essentially had a Covrvette with a 10k+ discount.
