I got to a dermatologist today, after at least a week of suffering mad itchy all over my body, that I've never had this extensive before. (I had shingles down my leg in 2004, worst itching ever, but that was localized to that siatic nerve.) I told him that a friend of mine had suggested I had scabies, and it sounded as good a diagnosis as anything else. He barely looked me over before saying I probably do have it, skipped the tests, and went right for the treatment: just like I hoped he would.
I had an absolute trauma with these little bastards I still have nightmares to this day, I just randomly devolped this itch from nowere, i wos up all night clawing myself to death, i had'nt even heard of scabies, when the doctor explained i cried for a week. i bleached everywere and cleaned clothes, beddin an wos traeted with lyclear and cured but i'v heard horror stories of people who have had them for years cos there infected with super mites that are immune to all treatments, imagine it.
When you apply the permetherin cream,you hafta leave it on for between 12-16 hours,but it kills the fuck out of them.you'll see immediate results.There will be some itching afterwards due to the waste that the scaby leaves behind.But drop a couple benadrills that will stop the itching.
doctor told me they can hold their breath under water for up to 30 minutes,but the cream wiped them out.They are vicious little bastards!I thought I had bed bugs,turns oout it was these fuckers.I tried kerosene,didnt work.I spent more time trying to figure out where I picked them up at.They fuckin drove me nuts,when night time rolled around,they was fuckin savage!!But,yea the permetherin cream was the shit!!

He is swimming in immersion oil. I had to do skin scapings for scabies at least once a week when I was a Derm tech. That was a fascinating job. And gross.
Scabies is super contagious. aimex is correct. Make sure everyone in your household and all furniture is treated for at least a month. Even if you feel better, more eggs could hatch and you're back to square one.
flea bomb your room! wash everything you have warn and never re wear any clothes the next day, and apply your cream for about a month even if spots and itchyness are gone.

i have this kind right now in my right arm. and it looks gross.. fuck that mite...its like they're building a burrows in my arms.. i use alcohol right now for a remedy. hope it works.

I think the best way of curing scabies is washing with soap or hot water. The best way to prevent scabies is to keep your things clean...
