Hey, I appreciate your kindness in your comment. I don't know what the lyrics mean. It was the images that struck me with such awe. The song sounds nice, & fits with the TIMING of the waves, etc. But it's seeing the gentle waves, & then the POWER of the water bubbling over with "fury" & then at such a calm again reminds me of Romans 8:22 "...consider the goodness & the severity of God. To those who fell, severity, but to you God's goodness, if you continue in His goodness, otherwise..." :)

How breath-takingly beautiful & utterly terrifying all at once! These scenes of the waters remind me of the Lord: We can not live w/o water, but when it rages, death threatens those in the middle of it! The sight/sound of the gentle waves bring peace, but when the ocean is stirred, violence reigns supreme. Even so, the Lord sustains all that lives, but His wrath is to be greatly feared above all. His ways bring peace as He IS TRUTH. Yet, when He brings judgment there is no greater horror!
