It seems the players are happy with UT selection and having their second coach, Fulmer, Dooley with decency and values, who can teach and build good men.

Seriously, I think the Vols have put together a good coaching staff. After all the recent crap they've gone through, I'm a bit GLAD for them. They deserve something good (and I'm a Bama fan saying that !!!)

Tee Martin was a good college QB. Our defense put 9 guys in the pros off that squad that is why we won the national Championship. I am glad we got a guy with some integrity this time around. I feel a little dirty after Kiffin. Like sleepin with a stripper or something. Glad for the change. WQe don't need a guy that doesn't want to be here anyways.
Regarding Tee Martin (per pineyflats). I remember Tee as a class act. A good guy. However, any Volunteer fan paying attention to the 1998 National Championship season will tell you that our DEFENSE won ALL the games for us and NOT Tee Martin. I was in attendance at the SEC Championship that year, and we didn't win that game b/c Tee was throwing touchdowns. We won because our DEFENSE wouldn't allow our opponents to make any touchdowns. They named the blvd after PM, after he went pro.
Ok Peyton got sweep by the Gators because he threw way too many INTs. Manning also got beat by MEMPHIS in on of the biggest upset in football history. Go put you hood on!

Vol fans deserve nothing but bad! The football Gods blessed UT with a savior Tee Martain... to replace the Anti Vol Peyton Manning. Manning threw picks and lost big games. Tee won a title. Knoxville named a street, kids after Peyton. It all could have been Tee Martain "IF" he was white!

Uhhhh, not really. I first heard of Derek Dooley when he helped coach LSU to the 2004 Crystal Ball (and I bet he put THAT on his resume). Looks like SOMEONE didn't do their homework before posting on YouTube... not gonna name any names though.

I agree, USCF...but the timing of Lane Kiffin's departure, and the backlash due to his disloyalty to a university that had basically given him a HUGE second chance at a career after his blowout w/ Oakland put a lot of pressure on other coach's around the country not to jump ship. So, UT had to hustle big time to put a good guy in place to salvage what's left of this year's recruiting program. I like what I've seen thus far of Coach Dooley. I'm all for giving him a chance to do something good.

That's what I was trying to say as well, that Dooley IS known... but obviously only in football circles & NOT celebrity circles.

Walker & Reveiz are excellent examples of the quality of student athlete we have at UT. I am sure the "hillbilly" comments will keep coming from those out in Cali but I am glad we have players with dignity, class & an ability to look at the big picture during this tumultuous change. GBO!!!
This kid is as stand up as they come. I am very pleased that he represents young black men, and carries himself the way he does.
I just wish people like Chris was on the news as much as losers like Nuke Richardson ect.
