So basically once you jailbreak you get the cydia.hackulo.us thing, install the app sync that fits your own firmware, then install installous also if haven't already right? Then whatever cracked apps you have you can sync up with itunes and back and forth.

Cool vid... very helpful. I have a question though, somewhat off topic; I recently purchased an unlocked and jailbroken iPhone 3G with Cydia, Appsync 3.1, and Hackulo.us already there. To my surprise the phone also came with over 1100 songs already in it but obviously if I try to sync with my iTunes I'll lose all of them. Is there a way to keep all of this music using some other kind of "transfer" method you described here?

you find out when you go to settings >> general >> about >> says your firmware under "version."

@kettoola sorry for the real late reply but i didn't notice i got a reply back from anyone so i couldn't wait much longer for my phone. So i decided to upgraded my iphone 3gs to the 4.0 version (5.13.04 modem firmware it says) which of sourse deleted all my apps and i jailbroke my phone and its working great! thanks for trying to help ..hope things went well for you too :)

@josheeboi123 The 3G Touch's firmware is 3.1.2... isn't it? Because the App-sync OS 3.0 is useless on that firmware... Try App Sync OS 3.1, it's also on the hackulo repo. If you have any errors, i will give you another source that also have the 3.1.2 patch. If you have any more questions sent a msg! :)

Put your ipod or iphone right next to your wireless internet router/box. Also make sure the screen doesnt lock when downloading an app.

If you have installous installed then you need to turn "ITunes sync" on from the settings. Installous can be installed from the same source as app sync.
