What an amazing piece of history!! Everyone should feel blessed to have met and spent time with such Great Men who made history!! They were the unsung heroes of WWII, and it was a honor and privilege to have known Mr.Guy Holloman (Wild Bill's brother) also A Tuskegee Airmen. Thank You for your service and commitment to Freedom.
@stupidrider53 Yes we all should, because while were sitting around watching TV or even going on Youtube people are risking there lives for us and we only give them one day (memorial day) they deserve better then that.
My friend Robert is a pilot from Georgia. He was deployed to Bosnia, in 1996. It's been 15 years since I last saw Robert. I lost all his information when I moved. I met him in September/1995. I enjoyed watching this video.
"Wild Bill", myself, and the interviewer/camera operator, Don Baer of Planes of Fame Air Museum, sat together at the airshow dinner the weekend we filmed this. Bill was a very interesting, very intelligent man. There was a lot more to this interview off camera at the dinner table, but it was not recorded. He didnt get the nickname, "Wild Bill" without a reason. Lets just say I havent laughed that hard in a while. We also heard the voice of a man of courage, a man who helped change the world.
AMAZING MAN!! HEARING HIM SPEAK PROVES TO US HOW TRUE THE STORIES TOLD IN "RED TAILS" THE MOVIE ARE TRUE TO LIFE!! "REST IN PEACE" WILD BILL

At Planes of Fame Air Museum we are continuing to record the stories of our brave veterans.
Each story preserved is a piece of history saved.
