Piccolo is the best character. Well maybe not the best but hes certainly my favorite character. I wonder just how strong he actually was by the time the Buu saga came around, considerig he never went all out like he did against 17. I'd guess he'd be around Cells 2nd form if not barely at his final (not super perfect). Then to be influenced by Majin if that were to happen i'd say we could be looking at SS2. Just my speculation on the situation.

evil vegeta is NOT more evil than evil piccolo. The son of the Demon King was goku's first true rival, and a conclusive rematch between them is sorely absent from the series because they replaced Piccolo with Vegeta. In the end, all Vegeta is is a whiny and insecure Piccolo knock off. They gave him more power and rage and suddenly he became the favorite. A cheap tactic. Majin Piccolo vs Goku would have fixed all of that and given the series much more depth.

Piccolo was fused with kame when he got destroyed my second form of cell ,whereas cell didnt stand a chance against vegeta. Vegeta normally is almost as strong as goku when they r in same form, and manjin vegeta wasnt that much stronger than goku, as a matter of fact i think they were equal.

oh yeah he did. goku went from a no class saiyan to vegeta's equal in a year, and vegeta never came close again. When goku came out of the time chamber and showed HALF of his power to korin, vegeta was left utterly awestruck. He then trained for another year and still didn't reach goku's level. If goku kept improving at that rate in otherworld(and he probably improved even faster there), then the gap between vegeta and him would have been enormous.
