  • Can't you just put the mouse and keyboard into the usb ports?

  • i use the eagle eye on ps3 and its good. xim will be better though. i can use wireless mouse and keyboard with the eagle eye. just have to use a basic plug and play one. sould be able to use one on the xim too meaning you can hide the wire away

  • its a DMR...

  • were do i get this o?

  • @ninjaxcupcakex xim3.com bro :)

  • Look at that, a Logitech G500 mouse. I use one of those.

  • can you use a wireless 360 controller and just get a play and charge kit?

  • @LittleJcon No. A play and charge kit does not send data through the wire, it only sends power. When you play a game with the play and charge plugged in it's basically powering up your wireless controller so it can wirelessly communicate with the xbox.

You might be able to get a used wired for cheap somewhere. It's not like it has to be an awesome controller. I'd stick to first party though.

  • @LittleJcon

No, I use the XIM 3, you have to have a wired controller.

  • @LittleJcon

    no.

  • Can you use a wireless keybord and mouse? Or do I have to use a wired setup?

  • @TheLazze13 some wireless accessories are supported, you have to look at their website for the listings

  • Anyone knows where to buy this product in europe?

  • @InecomCompany does it work on xbox 360 slim?

  • @GUN4125

Yes. As far as compatibility is concerned, the XIM3 is a wired 360 controller with the security identification of whatever wired gamepad is attached.

  • @GUN4125 yes it does

  • @GUN4125 No fucking shit?

  • i'd sell my soul for one of these

  • ooooooooooooooor, you just buy a bloody pc and play CoD there <3

  • @NemoPhonz not too many people play on pc, and there are tons of hackers..besides who doesnt already have tons of friends on 360 and who doesnt want this advantage? lol payce.

  • @zstar69 Honestly. I have only seen ONE single hacker since i purchased my Mw3 3 weeks ago. And that is the truth. There is an average of 70.000 players on mw3 online 24/7, that imo is more than enough.

  • @NemoPhonz the ppl on pc's also have mouses and keyboards so if you play with this on consoles you can have an arguably more enjoyable experience pwning everyone from christmas noobs to tryhard mlg pros

  • @juanelbobo1 Of course, the taste is like your butt, seperated. But I myself find mouse and keyboard easier and more comfortable, hence you have imo a better accuracy with a mouse instead of a joystick.

  • What if you have a wireless controller?

  • Has anyone here tried this with a trackball? I have just a normal 2 button, non-gaming LogiTech trackball and I hope I don't have any issues when it gets here xD

  • @Yourinmyscope if your trackball mouse got usb connector, then yes

  • in us dollars

  • how much does it cost

  • @electrogypsy1234 $149.99

  • Is this only available via Online ordering? Or is it possible to buy this off the shelf of a place like best buy?

  • @photonvoid There are no comparisons between this cheat device and weelchairs. HALO and console fps rely on a diferent control schem than computers, a slower one. The game is built with the assumption that you are using a regular controler. Using a mouse and keyboard against console players is plain cheating, for the absurd advantage to aiming. Microsoft should ban anyone who uses such a device.

  • Comment removed

  • @GLoiroG It is not a cheat device as much as a headset is a cheat device. Microsoft cannot ban you for this since this isn't detectable. A person with a controller may kill a person with an XIM3 sometimes, and it's simply used to feel more comfortable. Trust me, I've been using this for awhile and it's great! It's a lot more comfortable than a controller. :)

  • @GLoiroG lol, so many time's have i've seen people say a controller is so much better, then they do a 180 and say that it's cheating? haha, well microsoft has approved this product, go gl online

  • I have been pc gaming for years. Can someone tell me if there is any mouse lag? If there isn't I'd be unbeatable on fps lol

  • @196096009 no mouse Lag at all

  • @GeneralCondom ORLY? THATS FUCKING AWESOME.

  • This is a cheat device.

  • @GLoiroG how so

  • resume. the system mouse-keyboard kick ass. so pc should be cool for fps games

  • This review is completely useless, we need a PC gamer who used Mouse and keyboard for years to tell us if this feels like a real mouse.

  • @HyperOpticalSaint

Up until the speed cap in the game you would be playing, yes. A review went up recently (misterpickypants . com/?p=752) that gives a little more insight in to why twitch gamers who enjoy the feel of snap turns might dislike using such an adapter because it can not recreate the limitless—depending on what game you're playing, with more and more PC titles including broken mouselook e.g. Skyrim, Battlefield 3—speeds on PC.

  • It depends on how the player prefers to use their mouse and in what games they play. Different games have different turn speeds, and overturning in some of them can be annoying before memory starts to help keep your hand moving at an optimal speed. Of course if you're the type who makes slower, more fluid movements with a mouse, you may not encounter speed caps during normal play. Smart translators offer linear sensitivity and PC-like control up to said speed cap, in any case.

  • definitely worth the money if your a pc gamer with an xbox, ive been using this for 5 months + and it does its job

  • WOW this is the best aim mark has had EVER. You CGR fans know what im talking about. Mark's awesome, but hes definitely not the best at fps.

  • Here is the thing i am realy interested in buying this item but do i have to buy a wired 360 controle or can i just use the charger.

  • @IXDemonBunnyXI

The play and charge cable only charges the battery while the controller still communicates wirelessly. The XIM3 requires a licensed, wired gamepad to synchronize with the console.

  • @CEOrko Thank you soo much i been looking for this answere all week and finaly i have it tanks!

  • I was gonna ask if a PS3 nunchuk would work. But then, you said it right as I was thinking it, lol. Looks like I might get this at some point.

  • Just a quick question: Do i need an officially liscenced Xbox wired controller, or can I use any other wired controller like a Razer Onza?

  • Paying $149 or taking an extra half-second to line up shots.. hmmm I think I'll go with the latter thanks!

  • Hey man. I wanna ask you about which one is best of XIN3 or EagleEye please answer.

  • @Heavyfaceirl

Eagle Eye has nothing on the XIM3 according to many who have used both.

  • @FLYPino019 Do you mean xim3 is better?

  • @FLYPino019

I'm using a XIM3 for my PS3, and it is FLAWLESS. Yes, it is the best 1:1 adapter out there.

    However, it's fairly expensive.

  • Ruining the game!

  • I just wish this thing was half the price it is

  • Im gonna use this to play Minecraft on Xbox :D

  • does this have a dead spot loike the max shooter 3?

or does it work as good as a mouse and not some crappy emulation

  • @cujoway

Deadzones are countered by adjustable deadzone size and shape settings in normal configs and Smart Translators perfectly map and remove the deadzone of the game they're designed for.

The XIMs are still only capable of letting the mouse emulate a joystick, so you can not bypass the maximum speed caps hardcoded in to a game. Smart Translators give linear sensitivity scaling up to that max speed, but a game with a really slow look mechanic will remain equally slow with the mouse.

  • @cujoway

    as good as a mouse

  • It's hilarious how slow this game is, even when he has a mouse he's moving like a fat fuck after a visit to the bakers.

  • l2p with the real stuff OMG why is it always ppl that change how to play just lame -.- nice device but prefer to play for "real"

  • @huggeh1337 for "real" used to be a keyboard and mouse not some inaccurate pos controller. L2P with the real for "real".

  • @Immo39 well when you buy a xbox play xbox not pc..

  • damnit Mark! You pushed my xim 3 video down to 3rd in the list when you search Xim 3!!!

  • Question:

Could I just use the keyboard thing plus the mini control stick, without a full controller attached?

I want to use it for PC, not for consoles.

  • @Jabberwockxeno

Cause I am fine with the controller on consoles, but I CANNONT STAND keyboard for when i'm on PC. I hate the lack of ergonomics, I hate having a bunch of keys I don't use, I HATE using the WASD keys for movement.

  • @Jabberwockxeno What, i didn't understand a word you just said?

  • @hoppychopz

Can I just use this on PC instead of the wasd keys and the full keyboard?

I hate the WASD keys, so i'm looking for something like a control stick for use on PC games, without giving up the mouse.

  • @Jabberwockxeno

You don't need a XIM to use gamepads on a PC. Just about every single controller that can interface with a PC by default or through a cheap USB adapter will work, either through native support or emulation. If you were looking to use something other than the keyboard for your off-hand, you can find multiple nunchuck-type controllers, full-size joysticks, or smaller keypads designed for play.

  • @Jabberwockxeno yes you can, but i would not recommend it, you can buy any joystick and map the options in your games settings. My suggestion is stick with the wasd keys, i moved from an xbox and it took me ages to get used to it now ill never go back

  • @Jabberwockxeno That would be the Logitech G13 gameboard, which is a PC peripheral but the XIM3 happens to support it. I have one, but I mostly use it because it's easy to program a lot of hotkeys around you without having big keys taking up tons of space. The mini joystick isn't all that great, I dunno how Mark tolerates using the thing for WASD movement, lol.

I like mine but it doesnt have too much more to offer than a keyboard, it's great if you have a laptop and can't stand its keyboard.

  • @Jabberwockyxeno Truth be told, the G13 is decent for FPSes but where it really shines is for MMOs and other games where having tons of hotkeys is essential to gameplay.

  • @Jabberwockxeno hope your joking.

  • @Jabberwockxeno the g13 keyboard and g5 mouse dont come with it, so you can just but those separetly and use on a pc

  • will it work with ps3?

  • badass! now im thinking of getting an xbox 360 lol can't stand playing with the console controls xD But the xbox has some badass games that pc doesn't have like Gears of war 3 and halo reach

  • @InecomCompany did you every get the chance to use the PS3 Nav... Controller with XIM3. Plus are you still using it on your Xbox 360 & PS3 ( need adapter ) for all your FPS Game or / & more. I would really like to know. I'm really thinking about getting one.

  • Don't devices like this get you ban on xbox?

  • @Conti027

No. The XIM3 is not in violation of the terms set forth by Microsoft and is undetectable at a hardware level. In the event that it were labeled a violation, there would be no way to block the XIM3 short of disabling every licensed wired gamepad in use over LIVE.

  • @Conti027

and they even have an email from MS explaining the device, where MS simply says its the same as any third party controller.

  • @Conti027 No, because there is no hacking, no modification of any code, and it's not against any rule i've read, but don't quote me on that.

  • @2xnkote console excusives

  • @emlmm88 hmmm yeah I suppose, the only console exclusives that i wanna play though use a pad, God of War etc.

  • I just bought a g13 and the xim3 for my xbox, also using the G500 mouse. What layout works best with the G13 as far as keys?? Do you like moving with the analog stick on the left thumb?? or is there another better layout?

  • where do we buy this?

  • @Bryce19999 xim3. com

  • whats with 18 dislikes probly the best electronic out there..

  • >Using a g13

Oh shit nigger what are you doing?!

  • i want fucking WASD... not some half ass keyboard with a thumb stick

  • @shredderific1337 protip: you can use any keyboard

  • where did you get the keyboard

  • Just ordered mine right now...

  • Can u do a review for Bad Company 2. to see if its actually going to be worth $149

  • @Mutterjunge what? i got mine for 20$

  • @defendedmeteor3

    where? you stole it? hahaha

  • @Mutterjunge um no i got it at gamestop :P

  • @defendedmeteor3

they dont sell them at gamestop....

  • @Mutterjunge are you shore your talking about Battlefield Bad Company 2? :P

  • @defendedmeteor3

im talking about the XIM3 dumbass. That's the topic of this video..... your so dumb

  • @Mutterjunge how am i a dumbass your the one that said do a bad company 2 review and said it was 149$ go recheck your dumbass comments first I said i got bad company 2 for 20$. YOUR COMMENTS ARE MISLEADING NUFF SAID. :P

  • Hey I have a couple questions, is movement laggy at all? or jumpy like it is in the xbox controller? I could own some shit with this

  • @SuperSchmuel lol consoles will NEVER be a PC because then they would not be gaming consoles anymore.

  • @SuperSchmuel keyboard&mouse are better at shooters, but when it comes to fight games the joystick is much better

  • I play better on a controller. This is like the opposite of what I need haha

  • where do i buy it .i'm from south africa

  • Hahaha I got same mouse logitech g500 gaming mouse:) Its very nice mouse

  • @hallsteadf those websites never work

  • @hallsteadf sure it did

  • And gears of war 2 sucked

  • Gears of war 1 sucked

  • @SuperSchmuel No its not, nuff said.

  • awesome.

  • @SuperSchmuel It's all about preference but a gamepad will never be as accurate as a mouse.

  • @Moue666 Then a mouse is better.

  • ohhh shit, controllerfags are going to eat poop.

  • @SuperSchmuel First of all i'm not an idiot, don't insult me as i did not insult you, and second your arguing with me not with anyone else....

  • @SuperSchmuel So because you have played with it and you THINK its easy you just assume its very easy to learn how to play with it like you would on CSS? wow that is sad

  • THATS SICK

  • @SuperSchmuel Sure anyone enjoys the consoles because they are easier to use.

  • @SuperSchmuel They are not equally good the M/K is the most precise and accurate form of controlling any shooter game period.

  • Mark singing about aliens FTW!

  • GREAT, now review a device that lets you use a 360 controller on pc games.

  • @natixeboom

Software. Unlike consoles, PCs aren't closed platforms. You will want to look in to Xpadder and Pinnacle Game Profiler.

  • @natixeboom 360 controllers are compatible with windows by default. and if you don't like the way the keys are mapped for certain games you can use a software called xpadder to change them.

  • @hurrdurr117 I tried but there is a device at walmart that let's you do it but it cost 50 bucks whle the other pc gaming controllers are all under 30 dollars.

  • @natixeboom Which version?

  • @hurrdurr117 I have an old windows xp home edition

  • @hurrdurr117 I have an old windows thats the other reason

  • That keyboard is so confusing. :(

  • @SuperSchmuel Oh I thought you meant that controller's offer the same level of control as a keyboard and mouse (I thought it was an objective statement [as opposed to subjective]). You're right btw; it's all about fun that's why I play console (I find it more fun; less hackers, fair game n such).

  • I think it may be pronounced "ZIM 3"

  • @SuperSchmuel Um I'm personally a console gamer, but I must say your statement is simply not true. Keyboard and mouse allows for much more speed and control in comparison to an analogue stick; analogue can't give you pixel precision and the ability to instantly turn with the same sensitivity settings (which the keyboard & mouse does allow).

  • Can you still change the color on the G13 when it's connected to the XIM3??

  • @NykvarnAnton no.

  • I have one, INCREDIBLE piece of machinery, the Xbox IS a computer! IN fact a very powerful computer without any of the hassle of PC gaming plus exclusives..and I'm typing this on a 8800GT C2D Antec 900 gaming computer...pretty epic that Mark is reviewing one!

On many A+ it feels very, very PC like, faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar beyond any other product out there, JUST had a *HUGE* firmware updatea and is constantly being improved upon by the creator: OBsIV

Shoutouts for Mark for the review, too.

  • @FeeLtheHertZ

    The 360 is outdated.

  • FOR ALL OF YOU CONSOLE NERDS. i hope you know PCs MADE xbox games. Without them we would have no xbox. Whis your daddy now?

  • @EmPiREx220 without nes we wouldn't have any kind of videogames

  • @hipergoku computers made nes games. what do you think designs the graphics and everything

  • @EmPiREx220 i was saying that without the nes videogames would last to the 8-bit generation

  • @hipergoku it was a more simpler time *tear drops of sadness*

  • The Xim3 is propBly the best $150 dollars i have ever spent on. Still works till day one! I have test videos. This device changed my gaming career. Abd improved my gameplay. I strongly recommend this to anyone who is willing to shave off some cash for this product

  • @EmPiREx220 since you have expierience with the device, could you tell me if i could use my wireless keyboard and mouse with their adapter? thank you :)

  • @janjericho123 i have used a wireless mouse with it. but not as sure of a keyboard. never tested it. and i am now using a wired mouse i took from the computer room in my school lol

  • Mw2 was by infinity ward. not activision.

  • @SuperSchmuel

bullshit, the mouse can totally outgun a controller analog. Why? Mouse has NO deadzone

  • The only thing I ask is, why the hell is it so damned expensive?!?!?!?

  • @CABOOSE1324

This is all speculation, but the design had to incorporate multiple pieces of hardware together that were separate in earlier setups. It's a lot like cramming a gamepad, a XIM, and the translation software's own controller and memory in to a single case. Then the parts for each were purchased with quality taking precedence over cost. The higher quality is why the XIM3 doesn't lag any more than the 360 wired controller, whereas cheaper adapters like the XFPS introduce a 35ms delay.

  • OMFG... buy a fucking computer instead of buying mouse for xbox. thats just gay! xbox is made for 2-4 players playing on the sofa. not loners like mouse playing suckers.

  • @Degosaurius And you're a little child who is jealous because he can't have one.

  • @Degosaurius cool story bro

  • can you use a normal keyboard?

  • lol stupid 360 kids trying to copy PC XD

  • @haters123 ok... your bad... that is a gaming keyboard dumbass... more configured to only use one hand... so stfu

  • @AnotherLoneMexican You see the mouse? Exact same shit, trying to copy the pc. You console gamers need to stop trying to copy the PC products...

  • @haters123

Most veteran XIMers are PC players who, for whatever reason (exclusives, game with family/friends, etc.), wanted to use a mouse to play their console games. I can only assume the same reasons have drawn others to the XIM, regardless of whether they play mostly on PC or console. This was an effort to port more preferable controls from the very start, not some attempt to directly copy an established control scheme.

  • could you use this thing to play xbox360 games with a dualshock/sixaxis?

  • @ComradeMagnum In theory you
