Has anyone noticed that almost every game that uses the unreal engine has texture loading problems (Especially in GoW when it takes a few seconds to load up the textures) and glitchy? Mass Effect, GoW, Last Remnant etc

im a bit confused as well...i visited the sight and it goes into depth about the probram but confused cuse it talks about licensing...i realize you can what buy a license for the advanced users and get full source to the program but do they have a basic/intermediate version that the comman man can use, and if so does this come with the game with you buy it or is it sold seperatly?

me myself im not into the single player anymore, thats more of when i was like 9, and i think thats what these companys realize now is most hardcore gamers are more for the competition and being able to go at it with there friends, thats what i play FPS games for

some people are to compete and not to play a storyline.

i would just like them to make a single player campaign.

only gears 1 and 2 were good games.

honestly i didnt like unreal tournaments games.

theyre all basic games even tho they work all this engine thing.

i dont actually know about any other games from unreal.

single player was like an online match.

just some short cutscenes.

i wanted some real action and story!

yeah it's basically a multiplayer quake style shooter, very old school. It's not my bag of chips either but this is good news for people who like that stuff

but it would be awesome if they made an actual story.

everything in the game depends on fighting against them.

is just team deathmatches and capture the flag.

I agree. I see a decent amount of games that run on it now, but they all sucked pretty much. I think the engine can do alot, but it's never used to its potential
