  • 6:20 the most awkward silence ever

  • Bush's face is priceless.

  • Dead silence after the "stands on things" joke... brutal...

  • 100 people don't get his jokes.

  • 4:59 that dude is trying so hard not to laugh

  • This guys should get a Purple Heart for his bravery.

I would have wrote my will and kissed my family goodbye before I did this speech, just in case the secret service had other plans for me afterward.

  • weeeeeeeeeeeell look at the big balls on steve

  • you could tell some people were trying to hold back their laugh for some unfathomable reason 8P

We need people like Colbert in office. Oh thats right, RON PAUL 2012!!!

  • He roasted all three branches of government.

  • "Why do you think he's down on the ranch cutting that brush all the time? He's trying to create an alternative energy source. By 2008 we will have mesquite powered car"

  • youtube.com/watch?v=buSv1jjAels the response to colbert....if you can understand his english!!

  • he is america and so can you! :p

  • do you think the republicans even understand he is using sarcasm

  • I think I've found the new prophet.

  • Hahahaha who is this guy?! Amazing

  • i love how he basically just told the president he would "bump" someone lmao! hes a pisser! and the audience is horrible! if i were there i would be rolling on the floor laughing so hard.

  • Colbert for President!!!! 2012

  • The one time CSPAN was awesome...

  • 1:13-1:26

"If I concentrate hard enough, his head will explode. It must be true, I saw it in a movie."

  • I believe Colbert's balls extends from the Atlantic to the Pacific

  • LOL it's funny because it's true!

  • ha ha.. ha.. hindenburg..

  • is there a part 3?

  • idk whats better watching the huge balls that is Colbert, or him standing behind a podeum that has the presidental seal on it...

  • that was in 2006. MAN OH MAN THAT GUY HAS BALLS

  • Hilarious, but sad because its true. When the utter disappointment of your country and the vast majority of its people are so openly evident, one cannot help but be absolutely aghast, embarrassed, ashamed, disillusioned and saddened. What hurts even more is that there is no foreseeable end to this madness in sight. The average intelligent American is absolutely powerless and our government could not be happier about it.

  • Oh wow! Whatever intern hired this guy to speak was surely fired halfway through.

  • This was so great. What was especially funny about it was that he was so spot on in his dissection of the media and the President that it hit a little too close to home in the room, but people across America were laughing their heads off.

  • they're all old people, they're probably deaf too.

  • god damn these motherfuckers are humorless, why even have a comedian speaking if you're not gonna laugh?

  • @Gregd8888 it must be hard to laugh when you 're squirming inside, i guess.

  • how did he walk out alive

  • @monomister11 His balls are bulletproof.

  • @syntheticskull so were jfk and john lennons. but the rest of there bodys werent

  • @monomister11 RIP... good men.

  • @syntheticskull very good men. no disrespect was ment

  • I bet George Carlin loved this...

  • colbert owned bush. . . also the crowd iz tough

  • haha i actually feel bad for Bush

  • I can't believe Scalia was so entertained by that. Clearly, he has a better sense of humor than Bush.

  • I've seen a lot of comedians throw off their "brass balls" persona when confronted with that which they make fun of. This is fucking amazing right here though. To the face of the former president and his chronies, he does this.

Colbert has balls. I'm guessing he knew that no one could stop him without proving him right.

  • This is probably the bravest, most incredible, most intelligent, and most unbelievable performance by a comedian in all of history.

  • @flyskyairflair - I thought that then. I still do.

  • This literally happened...

  • This is the guy I want to learn how to troll from.

  • @mrkaiser1988 Ha way to pick a fight with some stranger over the internet yes that show's true intelect...also maybe check your own grammar* before picking on someone for there lack there of.

  • This is just sad....Not Colbert, the audience.....

  • this is brilliant

  • No people, they are not stupid, they're just smart enough to understand that they are the comedians making fun of the 99% of the people who aren't ruling the country, and that they can do anything they want and all the joy we get is from an entertainer on a 20min speech... Don't bash me for quoting the Bible, but Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge".

  • are they stupid?

  • how did they let him do this?

  • @proofandevidence They probably thought hed cow to the pressure. Bad bet to make.

  • It's funny yet more uncomfortible to watch than anything else lol... Colberts got guts man!

  • Yeah, but he's not on a JB video.

  • @getaufmahintarnetz Lol i wrote the first two i found sir, second who is writng paragraph's now:]

    p.s. blocked

    I win:]

  • @getaufmahintarnetz

    Sophisticate:v. so·phis·ti·cat·ed, so·phis·ti·cat·ing, so·phis·ti·cates

    1. To cause to become less natural, especially to make less naive and more worldly.

    2. To make impure; adulterate.

  • @getaufmahintarnetz lol so i had an unnatural fail on something that was unnatural? way to use words that you don't know how to properly use.

  • @getaufmahintarnetz Obviously you win you know you started an ilegitamite deboggle and now let me guess you could care less what i have to say, you didnt even read my last comment thoroughly and really didn't take in the few points i proclaimed or else you would not have scurried back into you're little youtube reality where you win arguements over grammer I hope grammar school language arts really helps you in the rest of you're life, peace.

  • @getaufmahintarnetz Obviously you can only judge grammar and not actually understand one's statement maybe this will be more clear for someone of you're brain caliber, I never said he was a Democrat also there are representatives from all political *parties(you're grammar isn't so fresh either as a Democrat would be a proper noun). One question before we depart did you really have to talk to some stranger over a video commenting board just because Stephen Colbert is a Democrat ?

  • @getaufmahintarnetz excuse me did i say he was'nt there's correspondents from all partys, next time read before you reply...

  • Colbert is the best troll EVER!!!

  • @ThaBlackSoldier56 That's a big claim. Trolling isn't just a fashion statement. It's a way of life

  • Only colbert can make all his fellow party members stare at him like hes jesus right before them

  • 4:22 i literally lold

  • At that moment, Colbert tore the President and his constitution to shreds, and probably the most powerful man in the world couldn't do anything! He hit a wall where he could either let Colbert insult and embarrass him, or look like a total wuss by being so distressed by a man telling jokes.

  • I think a seminal moment of this was how the biggest laugh that the routine got was for the 'marshmallow center' joke that could have appeared on a kids show. This was a room full of political head honchos, they should be intelligent and tolerant. They really don't like laughing at their own expense. Of course this was hugely popular with the rest of the world, I love it too.

  • I love how he just dissects Bush with a room full of the republican elite. Colbert is brilliant.

  • most people would get annoyed when people dont laugh, he thrives off of it

  • @joeschmojo

I thought that much was implied.

  • Comment removed

  • The platinum coated balls on Colbert...

  • Can someone explain the justice scalia joke? I don't get it.

  • @Vantheman91

    Scalia is from Jersey.

  • @Vantheman91 Colbert made insulting gestures at Scalia ex. Biting his thumb

  • @Vantheman91 Colbert made insulting gestures at Scalia ex. Biting his thumb

  • This man is heroic.

  • without a laugh track I don't know when to laugh.

  • @321erup123 Then think. Think for yourself for the sake of yourself.

  • Successful troll is successful.

  • omg, my heart is just racing listening to this, i feel like someone's gonna tackle colbert. how did he get away with this?! he has mad balls. i love him. i think he may have gone too far and i personally would never do this (because i'm a pansy), but i super respect him for it. why bash someone everywhere else but to their face?

  • "He'll believe the same thing he believed on Monday on Wednesday, no matter what happened Tuesday." You are the fucking man, Stephen.

  • this is probably the best youtube video ever along with the first part.

  • Colbert is a fucking hero. I would have been laughing my ass of if I was in that audience.

  • Stephen Colbert is a true national hero!

  • colbert pwns bush!

    go colbert

  • Holy shit. Bush looks pissed.

  • @headphonic8 or rather confused:D

  • balls of steel...

  • @ColonelVolkov Whatever steel balls are out there, Colbert's balls would crush them with ease.

  • I thought that, all things considered, the laughter from the audience was appreciable and fairly constant. I think if you were in the front rows it must have been harder to laugh openly.

  • Damn, Colbert has balls. XD I can't believe the audience though. They're hardly making a sound. You could cut the tension with a knife. This makes it feel like Stalin is being razzed at a meeting of the Central Committee.

  • I gasped when watching this! He's incredibly ballsy.

  • Absolutely fucking brilliant. It is people like this that will lead us to the truth.

  • Token Pictures "Freedom Crack"

Make it cool to care again!

    Look up Token Pictures

  • There's a lot of things I dislike about the US, but the fact that a comedian can get on stage and make fun of the president for 15 minutes, to his face, makes this the best country in the world.

  • @shamz0rz I'm sure there are lots of things to both like and dislike about the US, personally I've never been. But I know of no other nation of people in the developed world who constantly, proudly proclaim that theirs is "the best country in the world", by what measure? The fact that the only person who can mount a sustained criticism of an American president in his company is a comedian using satire would seem to suggest otherwise.

  • @MrDerekdoom Well, for one, could you imagine the queen being verbally assaulted like this? Or any other leader in the world? Majority of countries would imprison/kill the guy on the spot. We are viewed negatively around the world because of elements of our government, but our people are amazing. I used to live next to a japanese family on one side, spanish family on the other, and a young black couple above. We would have bbq's and what not on a nearly weekly basis. I love USA for its diversity

  • @shamz0rz your people are amazing? your country is absolutely riddled with ignorant fascists who's brain capacitys don't transcend their egos, you all believe everything your government tells you like it's your fucking religion and you let them manipulate you and use you as drones. everything about your country is awful, there's a reason why the united states is the most widely hated country on the planet.

  • @ledZeppelin7680 Lol, if you think it's any different in any other country you're quite wrong. The majority of humans are idiots, or else we wouldn't single individuals out as smart. There IS a reason why the USA is the most hated country in the world, everyones always jealous of the guy in first place. As the internet says... "Haters gon' hate".

  • @shamz0rz well thank you for proving my point... that's a pretty stupid logic, I can easily say ''the majourity of people are intelligent, that's why we single people out as smart'' and I would be making a point equally as valid as yours. and you obviously don't know anything about any other country, that signature american narcissism, it's not a matter of being stupid, it's a matter of being ignorant and self centered just like you effectively displayed with your last comment.

  • @ledZeppelin7680 Actually what you just said made no sense, because intelligent and smart are one in the same. I'm actually quite knowledgable in the cultures of many different countries, I just happen to have been born in this one. I'm sure you have pride in where you're from too, right? Or maybe not since you're here trashing Americans for no apparent reason? So quick to judge an entire nation because of a snapshot you get from media, shame.

  • @shamz0rz well I'm from canada and I'm not completely brain dead so no I'm not proud of where I'm from at all, even if I was that kind of person how the fuck could I be proud of a country that's basically a less violent united states. I think that whole attitude is just stupid, it's basically conformity, living a certain way and acting a certain way because of where you were born. nice little chunk of hipocracy there since everything you're proud of is fabricated by the media.

  • @ledZeppelin7680 I don't see where I said what I was proud of, other than the diverse living conditions I had a few years back. Of course I'm not proud of the wars we're in, or some of our trade policies, but those things are out of my hands. I can't change them. What I can do is love the place I live, NYC, because of how incredibly free it really is. I've gotta be glad I live in a rich, free, democratic society. If I wasn't grateful of where I lived, it would be an insult to poorer humans.

  • @shamz0rz the only things you can possibly be proud of are fabricated, your country is not free, your government is in complete controll, they kill everything that thay can't controll and you're proud of that? america isn't the only country that has diversity, a lot of countries do so that's a stupid thing to be proud of. you live in a fascist, oppressed nation full of people who think they're the most free people on the planet.

  • @ledZeppelin7680 Hah, you can't tell me that what I'm proud of is fake if I'm living it every day. I used to be like you, doom and gloom, probably read a lot of conspiracy theory stuff on infowars and what not. Take a step back and really look at things, don't just rehash the same stuff you read on the internet, use critical thought. What country is "better"? China where they execute 15,000 yearly for crimes as small as embezzlement? Russia where journalists are being hunted down daily?

  • @shamz0rz pretty much every country aside from third world extremist type countries...

  • @ledZeppelin7680 "Better" is a matter of opinion. Surely you have an example of a country that you've been to, experienced daily life and are well versed with their laws and social structures to make such an assessment. I thought my whole life Ireland was where I wanted to be. Upon visiting, I did enjoy my stay, but could never see myself living there fulltime. Career opportunities are very limited, standard of life in many areas is low and taxes are massive. Grass is always greener as they say.

  • @MrDerekdoom And when you hear someone saying "USA is the best!" What's wrong with pride? It's the same as football (soccer) fans over in the UK. They are diligantly proud of where they're from, even so far as to fight eachother about which area is best. Like I said, US has things about it I dislike, but as far as preference goes, I couldn't see myself as successful and happy in any other country. We're a work in progress rather than a standing house that has been decaying for thousands of years

  • No surprise few people dared to laugh.

This whole conference feels almost like a German comedian insulting Hitler in 1939.

  • why they "laugh" when he said "your grandchildren will no idea what glacierris"

looks like USA will not give a crap on global warming

  • @WingDing94 probably because all the documents were exaggerated and faked and we're the only country that still believes in it.

  • @WingDing94 No, we just have a sense of humor.

  • @WingDing94 His whole comedy routine is satire.

  • 95 people are George W. Bush.

  • this is something kids should read about in textbooks in the future

  • im sure colbert is really proud of obama now!

  • fucking republicans....

  • 95 dislikes is bush family XD

  • @dhchang05 Is DC still the most chocolaty? I know that when I lived there back in the mid-80's, it was like Lindt Madagascar (70%). Nowadays, it's more like Lindt Cuba (55%). I suppose both still count as semi-sweet, though.

  • @dhchang05 Right I see. I had no idea. Thanks!

  • I didn't get the chocolate and marshmellow jokes. Could someone explain them to me please?

  • "If you're strong enough to go on one of those pundit shows, you're strong enough to stand on a bank of computers and order men into battle! C'mon!"

    *several seconds of crickets chirping*

Epic bravery. Much respect to Mr. Colbert.

  • haha colbert is getting away with murder

  • That's not really very civil to accept an invitation to a fundraiser and then use it to beat your political platform. Can you imagine a comedian going to one of Obama's fundraisers and then hammering him about his unpopularity and all the things the comedian disagrees with? It was supposed to be a night where people can relax.

  • @OutlawTomFantastic The Bush dynasty aren't civil. Your talking about genocide in South America by Bush senior. And illegal wars and alot of dead women and children in Iraq. Anyway he was polite and thanked Bush for being there, he said it was an honour.

  • @SOUPRUN01 Well, not sure what you mean by South America, but Obama isn't civil either. He promised to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan, yet he increased troops in both areas. He even said he would close Guantanimo. The man is walking bullshit.

  • @OutlawTomFantastic To be honest I dont really care if that is civil. Why should Colbert hold himself back? They deserve it and to say it in the face, is the best thing and by far the gutsiest move to do.

He could say it via his show, but there they can ignore it. Here they cant. Thats the point.

  • @TituzzzD It was very decent of Bush to invite someone who clearly opposes him to a fund-raising event. Then to turn that invitation around and start pushing your politics and attacking him in a very ugly way was duplicitous. Not civil at all. At least Bush isn't like Obama who isolates himself with only leftists, especially during the election. And look what happens when Bush does. I bet he regrets trusting a leftist, but he's a tough guy. Colbert showed no grace here.

  • @OutlawTomFantastic Obama Isolates himself only with leftists? He's been trying to reach out his entire presidency so far! You're an idiot.

  • @steelydanbowler From what I recall, during the election he only gave interviews to leftist journalists who only ask questions about leftist issues. Totally mollycoddled.

  • @OutlawTomFantastic Is this one of those things you 'feel in your gut' to be true? Bush did not invite Colbert, and this was not a fund-raiser. Colbert didn't push his politics, he excoriated Bush's. He was completely civil.

I'm not sure what you expect from a satirist, but then again, eight years of the media playing dead during Bush's failed administration can dull one's expectations.

  • Everyone who watched this is deaf. I hear tons of laughter, though most is scattered.

  • I like his thing in the end about welcome to Washington the chocolate state, with a marshmallow filling..

  • Brilliant, genius, real hero, what else???

  • courage to say what we want to so much; with jokes...

  • @lmxtd4 Did you read the comments? I'm pretty sure you're the only one who thought it wasn't funny.

  • @lmxtd4 very bad sense of humor I presume? even encyclopedia dramatica honors this man...

  • @DiabeticOwl Gotta love Encyclopedia Dramatica! I did circumcision for the lulz

  • no one is laughing because no one can believe he's getting away with this.

    god bless colbert.

  • wow. tough crowd. people are either not laughing because they're being roasted, or they are afraid to laugh because they're surrounded by non-laughers.

what does THAT say about Stephen T Colbert's balls? it says they're GINORMOUS

  • just talkin some sicilian with my pisan

  • george had a genuine look of sith going on, that's good enough for me.

  • It looks like Colbert pissed off most of the people. WIN!

  • what the heck? like no one is laughing at his jokes

  • One of my favorite Colbert moments.

  • I NEED a DVD of this talk!

  • Anyone who gave this a thumbs down is a XBOX hueg faggot. Even Republifags should be lollin at supreme pwnage and ulz.

  • lol this took balls

  • @kevmarkpat Correction: GIANT BALLS OF STEEL.

  • @kevmarkpat gigantic balls.

  • His balls arnt made of steel or diamond, but in fact a super dense form of matter found in the cores of white dwarf stars.

  • Akward quiet laughing = colbert bombing? No, it means colbert succeeding. God Colbert you have balls.

  • @BCBtheBeastlyBeast: so what? they can call them like they want but the fakt is that they are their puppets and Colbert is just a smart puppet. smart enouth to fool you people so you dont see that he is a puppet. do you understand?

  • The rape is evident.

Nice job. This guy lives in my town, i've met him on multiples occasions, and he is just as smart in person as he is on that podium.
