I wish i could say im a daddys girl but im not. My dad lives about 5 blocks away from me and he hasnt talked to me since my 10th birthday and i am 16 now. Its sad knowing that i was his little girl for 10 yrs and now he doesnt want anything to do with me! I just wish he cared as much as i do i love you Daddy! :(

I lost my dad when i turned 12. He was in the Marines and was coming home the day after my birthday but never made it. I love you daddy. Forevery&Always. They played this song at his funeral and i will NEVER forget him. He was my best friend. A person that i can look up to whenever i want. I walk to school and see girls kissing and hugging their dads. My dad almost died from a stroke when I was 8 now everytime I hear father/daughter song I cry because it's just one more day I get to spend time with him. It was especially hard when I went on Active duty in the Army.

There is not a dad in this world who doesnt love his little girl. If you are really afraid, maybe talk to your mom. When my dad is mad at me sometimes its easier to have your mom speak to him :)

i was my daddy's liitle girl ever since i was born. but my parents never got married. when i was 4 my parents broke up. i didn't understand y my daddy was leaving. when he left my mom got custody of me. and 3 summers ago i was with him watching flicka. when this came on at the end he pulled me in his lap and sang it. i cried, i was so happy. now i think of him every time i listen 2 this and i imagine him singing this and i cry. i was 9 then. and i was his only kid till i was 8.i luv u daddy!!!!!

My mom played this song for me every time I went to visit her, it makes me cry every time. I can only get to the first line before I have to shut the song off. My mom was 47 && passed away in a house fire on 2-8-2011 when I was 7 months pregnant & witnessed the house go up in flames... R.I.P. Mom... I love you.

My dad would always cry whenever we would listen to this song and would always say I would always be his little girl. Now, he's in jail. He's not coming out for a while. Listening to this song, it makes me cry. I know my dad would have loved to be a huge part of my life. Just sad he can't be at the moment. I'll play this for him when he gets back.
