I would never buy a frog from a pet store. I actually have a grey tree frog I found while walking home from the Liquor Mart, it was September and she was sitting on a brick wall near a busy street, so I took her home. She is doing wonderful she is very healthy loves crickets and she has learned to take from my hands, she is also very tame and will sit on my finger for long periods of time. She is so cute =3

i know how u guys feel my mom and dad was born in thailand and they were poor so they ddint have money to buy meat so they go 2 this pond full of frogs and fish and they would eat the frogs but they boiled it and made it good and stuff tht's what they told me so i was like "EWWW!!"

PETA ran an undercover investigation (hence why the camera guy can't come to their rescue and blow his cover) for months that eventually led to the largest seizure of animals in the country.

If they really needed cheap caging all they had to do was get a large, clear plastic bin; has a wide lid so it shouln't take a genius to get them out unharmed (what like..$9-$20 at CVS Pharmacy or other store?), drill in a bunch of holes on the top and all sides and add in what else they need; substrate, fake plants, hiding places, pond, etc. It doesn't take long at all to clean a little water dish, either. :-/

That sucks. I have salamanders and they REALLY need water and not just for drinking. Frogs are no different. They can barely last 8 hours in the average home without a cage.
