I've had this phone for about 2 years now, and it's incredibly durable. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped it (the back and the battery even fell off) and it's still alive. It did start to shut off by itself a few month ago, but it doesn't happen a lot (about twice a month).

Question, is this phone still available in Canada?

I looked on T-Mobile, Rogers, and AT&T's websites, and none of them seem to have it for sale. I'm sure I could buy one somehow (online or eBay probably) but will I be able to activate it once I get it? Will the current cellular network providers accept it?

There are other better phones available now it seems (the W995 for example) but that ****'s damn expensive.

I've both them and i think is better the W760 because of it's gps chip and the keys(in the W595 are a bit small and hard to press,however the W595 keys are not bad,but the W760 is better)

Have the same phone.. Terrible compared to the W600, the speakers are low, the GPS costs $10 per month. For some reason the right side of my key pad is cracks in it after 3 months.. Idk why..

KPGC10GTX, you probably were unlucky and got a faulty one because this phone is better than that W600. Unlike the W600 it has a slot for a memory card and you can use a blue tooth headset with it. Also it does not look as if they designers were tryin to squeeze everything they could into the smallest space possible.

The only "bad" thing I can see on this phone is that is a little 'fatter' than other SE, everything from the case to the menu transitions look great I was thinking about getting a w910 but a screen bigger by 0.2" is not really important to me. Not a really expensive phone that looks great.

w580i had major issues with their keys cracking, A couple of my friends had it and they had it happen to them, and the At&t rep told me it was known with that phone. This 760 is an updated version, it's much much better.

Keys cracking? I heard about this when I got mine. Mine was in the same batch as the ones that were having the cracking problem and I never had a single cracked key and i have had the phone for a year and a half. I was very happy with the W580i but am now getting the W760 (being delivered tomorrow). The only reason i am upgrading is because I am an idiot and put my w580 in the washer.

It's really not much for them to decide, the ones the recruit have to have North American 3G frequencies and GSM 850... If not people will complain about crappy coverage.

So the companies design phones usually for at&t and rogers... basically they have to design specifically for North America...
