He was sentenced to like 365 yrs in prison, they tried to parole him and he rejected his own parole! TWICE! I believe this man is genuinely sorry for his crimes and is a true believer. This entire series is irresponsibles journalism used to promote Christianity. David Berkowitz did not kill people because he was possessed by the devil; the devil is just a fictional character and no serious investigator would accept that as a motive.

Berkowitz is not blaming the devil for his actions. He takes full responsiblity for the murders. He is simply explaining the factors involved that lead to his life of crime.
