Okay, I make AMVs myself and I have to say, this AMV was superb especially for a first AMV. The timing was really awesome, the song was an amazingly good choice and the bit at 1:06 - 1:07 was really well timed. Also, I liked how it didn't overkill on effects etc like most good AMVs.
Ah the reason why is that I was using the edit video program "Windows movie maker" and there aren't many decent effects in it.
The reason why the timing was anywhere close to decent was that I had the song pretty much memorized although in the creation of it... it would always go out of sync, so some parts didn't work out... in fact I had the first minute pretty much made when I throew a bunch of random clips togther (for a DVD menu) using the Apocalyptica song - Path as the title song...
So you know, I use WMM to and if you combine some effects you can actually get some pretty decent looking ones. like film grain + grayscale.
And heh, I dont think it's suprising to almost memorise the song during creration as you end up repeating alot of it while making it to get the timing right etc.
but yea, keep making awesome AMVs and maybe try and add in some more transitions etc. Also, 5/5 and favourited. *subs as well*
No, its my first... it involved alot of cursing because to make sure it was in sync (answering your other question), I had to watch it all the way through... and Code Geass and Path by Apocalyptica just worked very well together...
The only reason why I started doing this is because I made the first minute of it basically for the opening in my DVD so I decided to finish.
As to get it in Sync.. maybe when Summer rolls around and exams aren't soon... I'm going to need some time before I decide to work with Movie Maker again. ><
