I am a HUGE Star Wars fan and I have accepted I am a nerd. But truthfully, I think this game is shit. You're right when you say that this game should be TONS better and you're right to have such high standards. I mean, come on. SWTOR has the gameplay and graphics of WoW when it was recently launched. I too was really hoping it would be a good game but now I can see there are so many things wrong with it and I'm the kind that rages at something if don't like it and I know I will end up raging.

I have played SWTOR almost 3 straight days, and I ended up doing what I did with WH, Aion, and RIFT, after a week or two I canceled the account and I was back to WoW. The reason is because all these mmos are a copy of WoW, so one plays for a couple for weeks maybe, because it's something new and deceivingly excited, and then just quits.

My thoughts on the voice over story line... I agree the content is a blast the first time through, but when you are doing esseles 5 times and have to go through all of the story line again and again that it can be a bad thing. Overall however, I really do enjoy the story. It makes the single player leveling a lot more fun compared to standard MMOs.

I do understand what ur talking about with drawing and withdrawing a weapon via wow / swotor and imo if an mmo wants to be succesful like wow they have to look at wow and somewhat base their mmo around it because seriously 7 years is a long time, but wow is kind of getting out of its prime shits getting easier and i myself was in the beta for swtor and it actually felt like a challange compared to wow...that is all.

@AxHxNJ Just because they don't have 10 million active players doesn't mean it's dying. Imo 5.oh is looking good. Not that I will be there for the pokemon matches but there is a possibility that WoW becomes the playground for millions of players that focus only on pet fighting. Many a time ppl never see the new rage coming. If WoW fails to the point you can't play it, I bet it will be by the hand of Bliz via either turning it into crap or Titan (or some other Blizzard game) supersedes it. 8^)

As far as I know Remotewage did a "Leveling Thtough PVP" series like my own but he heavily involved the fans wanting them to level with him, he had huge support for it at the start but found that as he leveled less and less people kept leveling with him and became demotivated to continue on with the series as it heavily involved the fan base. I only know this because when I started my Leveling through pvp stuff people mentioned his name.

About SWTOR, I say almost the same stuff in my last video. How it doesn't seem like much of an upgrade from WoW.

As for Cheerful Geek, before I knew who he was George sent me his contact info and spoke very highly of him. I eventually talked to him and he did seem like a very mature, polite person. Sucks to see him leave TGN. There doesn't seem to be a lot of us left that care about stuff other than our own personal views.

Dontain, these ppl that think that developers sticking to a common key setup is copying don't understand that 10-15 years ago we (gamers) were bitching because they were all trying to have their own key settings. If I remember correctly Doom was where the w,a,s,d movement w/q&e strafe came from. It damn sure wasn't WoW but I was glad when WoW came out that after years of UT, WoW (the new game) felt easy to pickup and run with. Have FUN! It's in the game. 8^)

At that point in the game there is nothing to fear nor anything that can kill you. The 1st thing that comes close will be when you walk into a heroic area and then it's always someone elses respawns that get you. Come on back and enjoy the show. He's too funny. 8^)

I played the SWTOR beta for 3 or 4 days. I had very low expectations because I thought that it would be a simple WoW clone like so many others.

I actually found it very enjoyable. The story (I played Sith Inquisitor) was quite awesome in my opinion and I really enjoyed it. I never thought that I wanted to touch this game, especially with Guild Wars 2 around the corner, but after my time playing the beta, I realised that it really does live up to it's name as a byowere MMO.
