Re my comment below--I actually will probably use my comp with Vista 32 to connect to the other machine. Are there any limitations re the two machines running different versions of Windows? Do all versions of Windows work with Team Viewer?

@DiGiTaLdAzEDM Yes you can connect to her. I use teamviewer to remote tunnel into my desktop PC when I am at work. Transfer malware? No.

I was trying to do the whole Windows 7 homegroup thing and I was one of the unfortunate individuals who it was just NOT working for... I came across TeamViewer on the internet, and instead of reading (after all the reading I done about homegroups and firewalls and Windows 7) I decided to come to youtube for a tutorial... it really is a pretty easy program to use, and watching your video made it even easier... THANK U!

@angel2819 I have Windows 7, and I never ever bothered to mess with homegroup. It just wasn't a good use of my time to figure it out. The teamviewer program is slick, even with unattended LAN access for transfer files and remote login. - Versatile

I realize there are a lot of similar remote connection tools out there. TeamViewer 6 takes the icing on the cake. There is something very soothing about being able to remote connect to one of my internal PCs and do a quick file transfer or remote shutdown. - Versatile
