Piss off either the High class(for Monarcy) or lower class(for republic/democracy) in your capital.

If the High Class wins, you get something of a stroger monarchy.

If the lower class wins, you get something akin to a democracy.

essentially, if you want more power, overtax the highest group. less, overtax the lowest.

to prevent revolt, exempt all regions but the capitol from taxes. keep in mind that you need enough cash on hand to survive the turns that this will take.

you can force one by Rasing tax for lower class and lowering it for upper class, in the capital land and no tax in the rest of the country lands, you need to have no troops in the capital land so you can have an easy win when your rebel troops attack the capital city, easy win.

yup you prolly can, I have 2gb ram and I run it at medium on average. you can run Empire on a very low end computer since you can edit the graphics a lot (although it will look like crap with small unit size and low graphics XD)

Is it possible to make a constitutional monarchy revolution? Seems a bit stupid for it to either be lower classes to become a republic or upper classes to become an absolute monarchy. Is there a way to make both sides equaly pissed?

To become a Constitutional Monarchy you need the middle classes to rebel. You need an already Republican government to have a middle class rebellion, or an absolute monarchy to rebel, then rebel again to become Constitutional.

You see, when a Monarchy is overthrown into a republic the Upper class are wiped out. They are replaced with the "Middle Class", which is what they are named.

Middle class don't show up in a monarchy because they simply don't exist there.

For the republic, raise taxes on the lower class in the nation's capital region. Then choose the rebel side when it gives your the option and then storm the capital with your rebel army that is made for you.
